The amount of constant lightning is exceptional and astonishing. This reminds me of the description I read many years ago of the thunderstorm that spawned a destructive tornado in Massachusetts in 1953. I wondered what that would look like - now I know.

I sure have been praying that none of these kind of storm comes near where I live. That lightning, though!

The thunder from that unrelenting lightning would've been overpowering when the storm was directly overhead.
