I've just bought one of these and it's quite a nice loco. And it's not a 'pocket rocket' anymore. The new version runs very slowly and smoothly. Your detailing looks great. When i first looked at mine I was impressed by the detailed cab and your paint job really makes it shine. I have not yet done your detailing, but I removed the front coupling to make it look a bit more realistic. I also painted the wheels black and added windows using Deluxe Materials 'Glue 'n' Glaze'. I do recommend that product for glazing Hornby Railroad and other old locos without window glazing. /Anders
Frobard nice to hear from you anders ! Hope your well , these can be run at low speeds to be honest , they remind me almost of a peckett ,good idea about the window glazing ,
Hello there, who makes the vacuum pipes and where did you get them from? To improve it further you could paint the bufferbeams red and add a 3 link coupling.
@@miloseal25 , you can either drill a small hole in the buffer beam , or you can file down the vacuum pipe little notch so it will fit flush , use a dab of superglue ,
Nice job, the cab detail looks top quality.

Luke Knights vacuum pipes I had lying around are Hornby, yes I could paint the buffer beams red, but I like the overall dirty black finish,
