Ieri sera i brividi Voce Spettacolare 👏💖💖💖
Bellissima voce e bellissima interpretazione 👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Un voce ! Viva dio
Magnifica interpretción.!!!
Marina Rebeka straordinaria!
Gorgeous, brava Marina (in the Original key Bellini wrote Casta Diva)
So good to see you here. Because of your channel and exposing me to LaLa Rebeka I "ran" to this post!
So she sang it in G? F is the most used key on this, I recall, though yes, it's not the original.
Btw, the control is laudable, the pianissimi tender.
...the lady on the back over-acting is not only disturbing but diminishes if not adding a ridiculous element in the overall effect of the aria from Marina... whose idea what that? :D
She was meant to represent Giuditta Pasta, the first Norma, who watched the whole performance
@@operasingersstorehouse5311 terrible!!! good intention, horribly executed... get a real actress to do that
@@LohengrinO "Why" is the question .....if an idiot wants Pasta on stage, just bring some spaguetti !!!! Hahahahaaaa.....
@@joseluisbarreto7645 the Idea is good, the actress should go and find another job!
Putting a "double" on stage merely proves that the Stage Director couldn't really manage to think of a convincing "personenregie" for the singer/s. So he gets an actor/actress who does not have to concentrate on singing and watching the conductor to fill out the drama. The idea to have Pasta on stage isnt bad but then have her watch it with her back to the audience (maybe in a silhouette) instead of all that upstaging facial emoting this woman was doing. It isn't really her fault - it is a near impossible job to pull off well. She is not really integrated in the drama
Recently the Parsifal from Vienna had an actor on stage doubling as Parsifal. One of the few times when I felt this worked because the actor was integrated in the action. There was a young Parsifal acting (worked so well with the flower maidens undressing him) and an older watching, singing and acting. One of the reasons it worked is because Parsifal really does age over the course of the opera. It was actually very moving when the 2 Parsifals come face to face. Some people hated it - I personally thought it was very cleverly done.
Spettacolo bellissimo voce Adalgisa bellissima Norma incredibile bellissima

@@lauraeoli4772 ????!!!
@@lauraeoli4772 I hope not, but it won't recover for a long time. This Casta diva is an abomination, unworthy of Bellini's genius. Shrill, edgy and anonymous, with no sense of character, no poetry, no chiaroscuro, monochromatic and dull. If this is the best we can do, opera is in bad shape.
@@jasonhurd4379 It is the Casta Diva in Sol M. originally written by Bellini Giuditta Pasta refused to sing because in a too high register.
@@claudineshafa5546 I am aware of that. If singing it in the original key is what has caused this cacophony, the singer should return to the more accustomed key of F major. But I am very much afraid that this singer's problems are far more deep-seated than a higher or lower diapason.

superba interpretazione in tonalità originale cosi come scritta in sol maggiore dal grande Bellini
At the very least, she deserves credit for singing CD on the original key.
Yes she dared to sing it on the original key what G. Pasta didn't. And it is beautifully sung. Bravissima Marina.
@@claudineshafa5546 you are absolutely right. Rebeka is an exceptional singer.
Another lyric soprano with a beautiful voice. she does not have the vocal equipment for Norma. Sad to say. 👀💔. 🇫🇷. Arnold Bourbon Amaral
Mr. Arnold Amaral I repeat what you had written for her Norma in Toulouse "She is very good for a lyric Soprano. Beautiful timbre Brava".....
Akcents
Is this the new wave of singing Bellini and Bel Canto ? This is not a Norma voice ! Where are trills ? This singer fits to sing subretta roles, but not the major works by Bellini or Donizetti. Ridiculous !
Trills in the score of "Casta diva"? Huh? Nonsensical pseudo-coinoisseur comment as usual in UA-cam.
..... 😑
Callas sang Casta Diva in Sol Mag. only once in concert. Have you heard it? Is it what you are comparing ? Marina Rebeka has proved to be an exceptional "Norma" and if you don't like it it is only your personal opinion.
@@claudineshafa5546 Esattamente. La mia personale opinione. La penso così. Punto. Non deve piacermi per forza.... È obbligatorio?! 🤔

Unico difetto evidente che riscontro all'ascolto
She is not Russian.
@@Homoclassicus la dizione...

Sooo... Is barking with a weird vibrato now a mark of good singing? How about 05:45? Is she passing kidney stones? This is quite bad. It baffles the mind that this is applauded.
And she even had the guts to sing it in a higher pitch. Stupidity or arrogance? I mean, come on! The whole aria is very much out of tune, screamed through without one supported note.
Mr. Jay be You were very enthusiastic about her Norma in Toulouse!!!!
@@claudineshafa5546 I was? Really? I didn't know that! What makes you so sure? Is it because I filmed the performance? And let's suppose I was enthusiastic about her, can't I change my mind later? It was my first time seeing her and I didn't enjoy anything about her singing...
@@marieantoinette3857 And the saddest part is people hailing this as some sort of a genius performance...

Very poor singing:-(

@@claudineshafa5546 I’m not even offended by this. No, friend, she sings damned bad: very constricted, oughfull high notes, mixed voice, tremolo, she pronounces her vowels like she is not human, her jaw is constricted. It is really bad. Can’t imagine what her teacher taught her to do.
