    I don't think ancient greeks knew about protein that much, and you meant to say they had a "high caloric focused" diet not a high protein (although could have been)... the ancient roman gladiators focused on oils and seeds as they believed that it aids in such an occupation (I'm not a historian so prove me wrong)
