As a junior UX/UI designer, this video is absolutely true, 100%. It's so hard to find a job in this state of market and it's probably gonna get worse, comparing to 2019/2020, sometimes I'm in a real disbelief 'cause all the search provides me nothing... And all the points about understanding the reason of becoming a designer, and the fact that design is hard - all of them were really good. Thanks for the video
Thanks for the practical insights. The self taught route I went on 4 years ago just seems a lot more difficult now and the job is quite demanding at times. Thanks for your content
For sure. I totally get where you're coming from. Like any career, the more it evolves, the more complicated it gets. Just a few years ago, there was no AI in the mix, and tech stacks were a lot simpler. People like us could take our time learning things step-by-step. But now, anyone starting out has to catch up on everything that came before and then some!

I TRUST YOU!!!
Any thoughts on product design / product management?
Which ever that you enjoy more. If you like to be more hands on, design. If you like to be more on the strategy and planning side, management.
The matket is shrinking. Less jobs and the trend is accelerating.
Hopefully it will get better…
every other market is the same tho...
Sure, but not every industry experienced the same influx as tech. The lower barrier to entry makes this much easier for tech.
I will🫠
😂
Not only UI/UX Designer but also other fields are like this.
It’s a tough market. But times like this come and go.
Cool points.
