Combinations: A very common beginner's' doubt in combinations

Permutations & Combinations: In how many ways we can select a committee of 5 from 5 men and 3 women so that it has at least 3 men? The standard way of solving the question is taking 3 cases (i) 3M, 2W (ii) 4M, 3W & (iii) 5M, 0W. The doubt, I generally come across is why can't choose 3 men first and then choose any two person from remaining five? Support the channel:
