For all saying they prefer Joan, I couldn't agree more. However, this mezzo has a far, far better and lovelier quality than Marilyn Horne. I just enioy that we have a treasure of recordings of these irreplaceable singers and directors and orchestras that we can choose to enjoy them all...if we're so greedy

Gui made Beatrice finish with «Ah! se un'urna è a me concessa» also in Catania 1966 (Kabaivanska in the title role) and in the RAI recording of 1965 (Marcella De Osma)
Niestety interpretacja nie do zaakceptowania dla kogos jak ja, kto juz jest przyzwyczajony do boskiego spiewu np. Edyty Gruberowej. Pomimo wszystko "chapeaux bas" dla artystow.
Imposible escucharlo. Por degracia la forma de cantar inacceptable para uno como yo que ya cogio costumbres de escuchar las interpretaciones divinas como aquella de Gruberova, por ejemplo. De todas formas "chapeaux bas" para los artistas. Impossible d'ecouter cette interpretation. Trop vielle et pas pareille que celle de Gruberova, par exemple. En tout cas "chapeaux bas" pour les artistes.
Je suis déçu par cette prestation .Madame Gencer est capable de faire beaucoup mieux .l'air d'entrée par exemple est mal chanté et un peu bâclé .En comparaison Lucia Alberti est spectaculaire .
Grandissima cantatrice
Fin da giovane la Gencer si è cimentata con la musica di Bellini, a cui sembra sia stata sempre particolarmente legata!

La Gencer è stata grandissima ma la Beatrice di Tenda appartiene alla Stupenda.

Tienen razón Gencer es magnífica, pero la Beatrice de la Sutherland es insuperable.
