✏️ I wanted to talk about a very serious issue involving flux duping cheaters in Trove. We've always had problems with flux on PC, but I don't think players realize how much it's impacted Trove's development, and how much the latest influx of duping will continue to effect it from now on.

They have been playing and been known that they cheat since alpha the don’t ban cheaters but now they are because the games dying.
I mean, again, unpopular opinion…but maybe they shouldn’t give players a reason to do it…clearly the games grind is too excessive to where players feel they have to dupe flux to keep up without playing 24/7. Just sayin…if they take incentive away for doing it, players won’t do it. Nobody has time to collect millions upon millions of flux, element dust, etc for the next tier gears, etc. it’s ridiculous…talk about something that’s killing the game.
I have to agree 100% for the goald point you made.
I take breaks from the game between updates but every time i come back i come for the chill nice grind that doesnt require imput, that u slowly grind to ur massive upgrade and it feels satisfying.
Anyone who has cheated in a game before knows that the games stop being interesting after ur goals become insta achievable.
I love how there is no transparency in gamigo. A couple days ago there was a emergency maintenance. They announced on discord that the server would be offline for 6 hours. They literally shut the servers for 6 hours and literally dont even tried to explain the reason for the maintenance. Probably it was because of this exploit.
Instead of trying to improve this game like adding anti-cheat they have blocked this game in my country (Russia) because of conflict in Ukraine but how it's related to the game I have no clue
In some mmorpg devs do rollback when the dup glitch started so they lose all the dup items and money but you lose progress depending on how much time was sometimes is like a week of loss progress
The fact that its so difficult to progress in this game without spending money or cheating is why i barely play anymore

i remember talking to someone in their club world who had this bounce pad on the floor and when you jumped on it you hit an invisible block or something, can’t fully remember what it was but they said it was for duping but also said they didn’t know how to dupe lol

The only thing I wish they would make allowable on consoles is the mods. I know it's more so what the console makers allow in the coding, but it would be cool to have some baked in mods in an update to have some of those perks.
in all my instances of cheating (using xray in minecraft), i realised it just sapped all the joy and accomplishment out of the game, to the point where i vowwed never to do it again. especially in a multiplayer game where it affects others.

I would normally agree with you, but with me being on xbox, I'm trying to keep working on mastery but the grind is so much harder on here, I've played all other formats, and xbox is the roughest 1. So, to me, if the xbox community wants to make their lives a little easier I'm not going to hold that against them.

I dont dupe. And i never will because the satisfaction of grinding out for some dragon or item is enjoyable to me. But there are some things in this game ill probably never get. I dont blame the duper for duping because of how mund numbingly grindy this game is.
To be honest I wouldn't say that everything gamigo has done is better than anything Trion Worlds ever did. After all Trion gave us Mantle of Power. And while, yes, this arguably was the point in Trove's history that made all the P2W garbage ramp up like crazy, it also added an *insane* amount of content to this game. Content that is still very relevant to this day. Unlike what gamigo tends to add, which is relevant for like a week until it no longer grants mastery and gets swept under the carpet.
So while I don't miss Trion in any way I wouldn't give gamigo all that much praise for their work either.
Ps EU went crazy last night, dupers bought everything on mp made everything worth 10x original value, there were like 200 pandas pulled in a few hours, the dupe method got leaked so alot of people started doing it, had billions of flux, loads of people quit. Server almost broke, I myself and many other people have been constantly messaging the Devs tryna get the dupers stopped but they haven't even answered us. I don't see our server coming back from this honesty.

I played 6-7 years ago and played with a new account last 4 days ago and got really suprised with the inflation. Since i was a shadow hunter main im trying to get him but the materials are so expensive when obtaining them can take up to only a day's worth of hard grinding. It took me 2 hours to get 2k radiant shards while it costs like 200k flux in the market. Imagine hm time you have to invest on gaining that amount of flux 😭.
I'm new to the game so i dont understand quit really how flux dumping work...
they already took down the servers when they realized people were distributing duped flux through community chests. servers were down for 24 hours or something. then the servers were up and the only thing they did was removing the community chest from the game and rolling back the database a few hours back. that was all. there's no other solution than fixing the exploit permanently, and bringing anti cheat to the game.
Saw a 1k Power Rank player running around my house with Ganda equpped. I'm disgusted even though i did abuse the glitch too.

First time I used an exploit on a game was cyberpunk and it was the infinite points for the skill tree and some time later it felt boring because I had everything and now the grind wasn’t the same and leveling up was meaningless so if you ever see the exploit videos ignore it because only you will suffer even if your not caught

Ganda on ps uk servers are sat at 3 million and there’s stacks of 35 of them it’s crazy
now they just have to ban people who use scripts and have alt accounts to automate the game. Also speedhacking is a massive issue

to be honest, I wish they just decided to wipe all Flux, doesn't matter if someone did duped it or not, they also hold some of that duped flux because it's everywhere at this point, getting it from scratch would help the economy already

there is a certain level of cheating that i sometimes accept duping the main currency is not one of them. if you cheat just to get past one maybe 2 nearly impossible parts like say getting a piece of gear you cant get as f2p so you do a little cheating to get it i would maybe accept it if the item is some extremely powerful item that only whales can get. also i would count the x boss finder mod thing a cheat as even though its free i dont think the devs would agree to allowing a advantage to the players who use mods. cosmetic changes is one thing but changes to the games code and what not where it gives a advantage is just uncool

I only play during events & usually a few days before it ends if I think the event tasks I read on Trovesaurus is easy enough. Sometimes during my daily log in, if I happened to login during coin challenge, I may do it & then log off

I do like your content, but...peeps like you get given mounts, allies etc by players on your streams so they can be "famous" by being in one of your videos. If you yhink about it you are already cheating on PC because of all the mods you have running, detecting evrything from miles away etec
