Real Racing 3 runs at 60 FPS on Android devices, which is awesome. For some reason only known to the developers, RR3 is capped at 30 FPS on all iOS devices. F1 Mobile is capped at 30 FPS on both iOS and Android, which really detracts from the experience.
I can't provide a specific reason, but I know that iOS has a very heavy focus on apple's well-developed software, which is designed solely to do two things: 1 - provide a smooth, enjoyable experience for all apple-made applications (iMessage, facetime, etc.) 2 - provide user security (in most cases more than any other tech company that makes comparable devices) What does that mean? basically, whenever you are using an application made specifically by apple, it works very well on apple devices. However, when using something that was not made by them, there are usually limitations that relate to the way apple's software is made. Android devices tend to have much less of a "gatekeeper" approach to its software, meaning that downloaded apps have more freedom in what they can do. Apple is not so much concerned about the performance of apps such as these - their main goal is to make sure that some random app can't undermine the operation of the operating system and software that they have used to craft their user experience. Sorry for such a long-winded response, which to be honest I know is not that good of an explanation, but basically, this is just the nature of apple products, not just something with RR3 (although the reason for this specific thing might not be what im saying - its just my guess, but it is a well-educated guess)
@Rubik VonCube Indeed, I am very familiar with the development prerequisites and protocols on iOS and Android, since I am a developer myself on those and other platforms. What you've said is mostly true. However, that has nothing at all to do with the situation on RR3. Actually, RR3's framerate is uncapped on Android - it will run as high as the device's refresh rate is, meaning that runs at 120 FPS on my S22 Ultra. My iPad Pro 11 (2022/M2) is still at 30 FPS. The main reason here has to do with the introduction of the iPhone 5 back in late 2012. RR3 was a featured game at the Apple event for that phone's introduction, and it was demonstrated there. Back in 2012, it made perfect sense to limit the framerate to 30 FPS since the iPhone 5 would likely not handle much over that, and FM also wanted the game to work on some older devices as well. With that out of the way, RR3 does run at a higher resolution on iOS devices, and there are additional (though minor) graphic effects on the iOS version, such as lens flares. Even still, any iOS device made within the last 5 years could easily run RR3 at 60+ FPS. Another factor is that RR3 is a very-low effort game these days. FM has been working on the next RR release, so RR3 is basically just coasting along with old events being replayed and an occasional new car or two.
@@ScreamAndFly Interesting - I guess that actually does make sense though, given that RR3 has been out forever. Also, not sure if you would know the answer to this, but does the framerate of the game affect the physics, or only the display? I know there was recently some talk in the official codemasters F1 esports scene about playing at lower framerates actually having noticeable effects on the physics that could potentially be used to give an advantage - im not sure if its the same kind of situation with RR3, or if the physics and display frame rate are independent.
@@rubikvoncube3583 The framerate by itself wouldn't (in most cases) affect how the game physics are programmed, however that could depend on several factors. The output on most games is locked with its input polling rate, meaning that a game running at 120 FPS vs a game running at 30 FPS will have the capability of processing control commands faster for redrawing on the screen. As for how a game interprets those inputs against the physics model, it could affect gameplay precision, though probably not to any large degree. Again, that depends on the game though. When a game is running at 120 FPS for example, it is polling the input commands four times faster than a game running at 30 FPS, so there is more information being processed, which in some cases could mean finer control. So in conclusion, yes, framerate will have some affect on the overall control in most cases, though whether that will provide any appreciable advantage or disadvantage really depends on the game. With RR3, aside from the game smoothness being vastly different when comparing 120 FPS vs 30 FPS, I have thus far not been able to establish that either situation affects track times, for example. RR3 doesn't require extremely precise control input, so I don't think FPS actually matters in that game. With regard to advanced racing simulation games, that's another story. For games that depend heavily on very fast reaction times (such as Call of Duty-type games), a higher framerate would provide the potential for a definite advantage.
One thing that bugs me about RR3 is the steering wheel animation,it simply doesn't turn all the way towards either side and it's same for all cars..i hope they fix this

real racing 3, the only grudge i have against it is the unrealistic handling, the car slides around in places a real F1 car wouldnt, also the steering lock is literally minimal which bugs me because I know that is not how much an F1 steering wheel turns, in F1 Mobile Racing, the cars don't break traction unless you turn while pressing the DRS button or go onto the grass, both have their pros and cons
THANK YOU I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS COMMENT, everyone is like "rr3 controls and handling are so good" like no they're not I have to brake so early and I can't turn a lot or else the car drifts like bruh.

It would be funny that rr3 has the best physic for an f1 car, but then it implement the same physic to road cars where tyres losing traction can throw you off the track. Which is a shame, cuz having a bit of them to compliment the car's suspension to make it more realistic can be done.
I know exactly what you mean, but believe me when I say it's much harder than you think. Working with an established framework means that they have to fit the f1 car to the physics model they already have - they can change the values of its performance, but re-calibrating the physics to work well for the f1 cars would be a nightmare for a plethora of reasons. But yes, it is a bit funky.
Both games are excellent, lately I have played more mobile racing f1 but the gameplay of the bots is crap they take you off the track and penalize you, the graphics are excellent but the irrealialist speed is a big failure
RR 3 looks way better tho. F1M has the camera shake and car design on point too. But the surroundings in rr3 look more realistic. Plus f1m has no cam reflection in the mirrors
Not to mention you’re lucky if f1m looks like that, as soon as your device heats up the slightest bit the game throttles the resolution to all hell and you’re left with what looks like a SNES game. I haven’t found any way to turn that off.
still f1 mobile has more realistic handling gameplay controls than rr3. on f1 mobile u have to tilt harder if u have to when going on sharp corners unlike rr3 u just have to tilt it effortlessly. f1 mobile gives me more thrill to play than rr3. other category on rr3 are nice i would say that, however on f1 category its just has a boring game play. so whenever i play rr3 i just dont feel to play the f1, only the other category. but when it comes to just f1 category i would still choose f1 mobile its more realistic experience to play, i dont mind the background graphics like the trees, what more important was the car graphics and gameplay. i really hope they would put back the game again on appstore. f1 mobile still the best f1 game of all time
I have played both the games and know them very well.........but F1 mobile racing just feels real to me........The steering, graphics, rules and regulations, speed, grip......all seem much more realistic than RR3
In F1 Racing, Car Graphic Is Little Bit Higher Then REAL RACING 3. But Except The Car Graphic, Rest Things Like World, Sky, Road, Scenery Or Nature Or Even Weather Graphics Are Looks Much Odd & Artificial Then REAL RACING 3. That's My Opinion.
I run RR3 for the last 10 years. My LG V40 ThinQ just crashed, and I just started playing it on my Google Pixel 6 Pro, it's awesome!! I'kk stick with RR3. :)
RR3 also has controller compatibility. You can hook up your device to a tv via hdmi and with the controller you now have a console quality game! 👌🏽👌🏽 Blew my mind the first time I tried it and now that's the only way I'll play it lol
I've been playin rr3 for 4 years now and nothing has been able to top is so far, excluding racing games from PC. (Also in first person you can see that the sude mirrors actually work so thats a plus.

RR3 seems to be more realistic with a better FOV. The graphics are better in F1 Mobile Racing but has poor render distance. The Sounds are bad either way.
Cars looks good on F1MR, tracks looks similar, surroundings are much better on RR3, sound is debatable on both, but RR3 doesn't give that much of driving a heavy car it just slides all the time.
The only major problem I have with rr3 is the speed system like at some turns I look at the speed dial and it's going at like 70mph there's no way that's a realistic for a normal car
f1 mobile defiantly have more detail, but they only need to make one car model, but Real Racing have many variety of cars, so they can not only focus on one car.
so pls tell now , am a RR3 rookie , i play RR3 only for F1 cars cuz i am a 10yr player in A8 , so for other n supercars i play A8 n thats fun . i started RR3 only for F1 cars and tracks can i continue RR3 or should i switch to F1 racing mobile ?

Working with an established framework means that they have to fit the f1 car to the physics model they already have - they can change the values of its performance, but re-calibrating the physics to work well for the f1 cars would be a nightmare for a plethora of reasons. But yes, it is a bit funky.
RR3 has great physics for most cars, but I would say the F1 physics aren't optimised yet...
Great video 📹👍real racing 3 is a fun game, my fav racing game at the moment 👌😀and nice driving 🚗😀keep up the good car videos 📹😀
Would love to see a comparison including Ala Mobile Gp :)
Yeah your work is great man
The acceleration on ala mobile is just garbage...
Best camera and feeling in real racing 3
i love this game RR3!! i play since of get one phone LG l70 🤩
The monza morning graphics hits different in rr3
I think that the driving experience on f1 mobile is way better, for example how the car behaves when you turn etc.
On the RR3 the driver's head is not visible when in the top cockpit camera, while the F1 Mobile is visible
I've recently started playing Real Racing 3 and I must admit, it's bad ass.
Both games are excellent, lately I have played more mobile racing f1 but the gameplay of the bots is crap they take you off the track and penalize you, the graphics are excellent but the irrealialist speed is a big failure
I still remember when real racing 3 had the V8 supercars and mount panoramo on it and nascar
rr3,an old game still running fine today
both have EA, but the difference between both graphic is 180 degree
RR 3 looks way better tho. F1M has the camera shake and car design on point too. But the surroundings in rr3 look more realistic. Plus f1m has no cam reflection in the mirrors
Not to mention you’re lucky if f1m looks like that, as soon as your device heats up the slightest bit the game throttles the resolution to all hell and you’re left with what looks like a SNES game. I haven’t found any way to turn that off.
@@ryanl.1085 damn ikr. It's annoying. I deleted it
F1 Mobile focuses on the post processing quality, hopefully Real Racing devs add this to their game.
still f1 mobile has more realistic handling gameplay controls than rr3. on f1 mobile u have to tilt harder if u have to when going on sharp corners unlike rr3 u just have to tilt it effortlessly. f1 mobile gives me more thrill to play than rr3. other category on rr3 are nice i would say that, however on f1 category its just has a boring game play. so whenever i play rr3 i just dont feel to play the f1, only the other category. but when it comes to just f1 category i would still choose f1 mobile its more realistic experience to play, i dont mind the background graphics like the trees, what more important was the car graphics and gameplay. i really hope they would put back the game again on appstore. f1 mobile still the best f1 game of all time
I have played both the games and know them very well.........but F1 mobile racing just feels real to me........The steering, graphics, rules and regulations, speed, grip......all seem much more realistic than RR3
Handling of RR3 makes it the best racing game for phones 🙌🏻
RR3 also has controller compatibility. You can hook up your device to a tv via hdmi and with the controller you now have a console quality game! 👌🏽👌🏽 Blew my mind the first time I tried it and now that's the only way I'll play it lol
What a coincidence
I recently downloaded Real racing 3 and have been playing it ever since
I've been playin rr3 for 4 years now and nothing has been able to top is so far, excluding racing games from PC. (Also in first person you can see that the sude mirrors actually work so thats a plus.
I love Real racing 3 steering assistant OFF..while playing F1💋
I've 3 years with RR-3 but thank to this video I will change to f1 MR.
Some F1 Mobile racing tracks hás better accruacy than rr3 and had 12 F1 circuits more than rr3 but F1MOBILERACING is Very unstable can lag heavyly on low end devices and aramco sponsorship at chicane after kernel straight is missing on low end phones and wrong sector 1 sponsorship at Suzuka on low end phones Also lamppoles are missing on many circuits for low spec devices codemasters F1 Mobile low end devices Flagships runs better and have ALL missing or wrong things we had on low end phones
Ja F1 mobile racing is better than real racing 3 F1 2022 but Real racing 3 every team has it own s wheel so Real racing 3 is better
@@danverhufke8279 f1 mobile racing only beats rr3 on tracks and sponsorship rest is unstable
The f1 mobile game is very unstable
the f1 sound of real racing 3 looks like an hybrid diesel lmao
Can't wait for Real Racing 4 ! 🗿
F1 mobile = F1
Rr3 = gran turismo
I think the physics engine of rr3 still needs to be improved.
RR3 seems to be more realistic with a better FOV. The graphics are better in F1 Mobile Racing but has poor render distance. The Sounds are bad either way.
Jogo a 4 anos seguidos, muito bom ,divertido, impecável quanto aos detalhes ,dis carros .dou 6 estrelas
Baku would be a good edition for rr3
Heck, any track would be good as long as another one gets added😂
They haven’t added a new track since forever ago, I mean their missing Zandvoort, Baku, Hungary, Bahrain, and more
Currently I'm playing Real Racing 3. I really like the game, best graphics. I use the gyro mode steering, it feels like real 👍👍👌
in both games the cars sound more like a motorcycle than an F1
the old road textures of real racing 3 is a lot better than what it is now
RR3 was really ahead of its time
Cars looks good on F1MR, tracks looks similar, surroundings are much better on RR3, sound is debatable on both, but RR3 doesn't give that much of driving a heavy car it just slides all the time.
Yeah I agree that F1 has better graphics in cars but the background of rr3 is just op
Rr3 is the goat of the mobile racing games
I rather love real racing 3. The controls are just so smooth like real racing. I still play these days too
The only major problem I have with rr3 is the speed system like at some turns I look at the speed dial and it's going at like 70mph there's no way that's a realistic for a normal car
Atleast real racing 3 connects to servers
f1 mobile defiantly have more detail, but they only need to make one car model, but Real Racing have many variety of cars, so they can not only focus on one car.
Honestly it sounds like F1 knew what they were doing with its sounds and graphics
its a shame it had tp get taken down
I've been playing rr3 for almost 10 years now.
Rr3 will always be my favorite racing game
How did you get 60fps in real racing 3
so pls tell now , am a RR3 rookie , i play RR3 only for F1 cars cuz i am a 10yr player in A8 , so for other n supercars i play A8 n thats fun . i started RR3 only for F1 cars and tracks can i continue RR3 or should i switch to F1 racing mobile ?
For reason i dont like f1 mobile its because the driver didnt have texture teams
the thing I don't like about real racing 3 is that Its pay to win and you spin very often(even in an F1 or generally a high down force car)so the physics need a rework
I still play Rr3❤
I wish that the graphics of real Racing 3 are those of formula 1 mobile Racing
I've been grinding out RR3 and yes it better. ITS A GRIND TO UPGRADE. you either pay real money or not spend a single piece of gold. If you know you know
I don't like rr3 car sounds, it's annoying, but I need them to drive well, The only feedback we have is the sound
Don't forget that RR3 has so many categories apart from F1: Amateur, seasons, gtr 3 and 4 and more...
I would like to have F1 sound in RR3 game.
I developed this hobby like 3 days ago and i can say real racing is grrrreat
RR3 is almost a full package of motorsport racing, only rally part is missing.
É incrível a diferença do gráfico ver o jogo para o outro real racing super superior
THANK YOU I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS COMMENT, everyone is like "rr3 controls and handling are so good" like no they're not I have to brake so early and I can't turn a lot or else the car drifts like bruh, I know I'm not the only one. I'm not a rammer but I do a lot of dive bomb overtakes no crashing just fly on the inside I can't do that in rr3 or the car goes skrrtttt skrrrrtttttt
Try to reduce the sensitivity from the control panel and switch to the gyro if you are not already playing in that.
In the terms of landscape and scenery, not really all that much different. The car has more details, but the handling looks about the same...
F1 racing grafich bect but not realistic but RR3 grafich best and good physics and I am still living RR3❤❤❤❤❤
Real racing 3 gameplay and cars + f1 mobile graphics = 🤑🤑🤑
Real Racing 3 No.1 and Real Racing NEXT The best graphics
I really enjoyed F1, it was such a good game, graphics on point, handling was good, sound effects OK. R3.....graphics are slightly offish, sound of the F1 car is utter rubbish. R3 needs to bring their F1 game up to par....
For me just add the lighting or the actual car design in f1 mobile into real racing
add a real tv f1 qualify race in the right side, real racing vs mobile vs tv f1 qualy 😊
Still, everyone's favorite real racing 3😍
