I’m am 44 years old and I was extremely oily until…I reached my late thirties. Now I cleanse my face with lukewarm water to prevent my skin from drying out and I never let my face dry, so as I apply my skin care in steps I never let my face dry. When I cleanse, I go immediately apply my essence, game changer!

My skin has finally started responding to skincare again. I am horrible when it comes to taking care of my skin but at the moment my skin isn’t in bad shape but i never thought to use a sunscreen on a daily basis. Thank you! ❤️
Love how smart and educated you have become with your skin care routine. As a maturing adult, who is not use to all the different products, I just keep my routine much much more simple. Love your day and night routine too. I realize everyones skin is different.
You made some great key points. Throughly cleanse your.skin. Protect your skin with sunscreen. Do not go to bed without cleaning your skin.

Hey Kendra! I remember reading that you should wait 30 min before applying niacinamide when you use a bha or aha because of the ph balances. If you use it right after it cancels out the effectiveness of the bha/aha.

Love love Lano Lips I also only have to use it about twice a day. It HEALED my cracked sick winter lips.
Actually hyaluronic acid makes products penetrate faster into the skin. Derms don’t recommend using it before or after anything that could irritate your skin if it is sensitive.

Girl, I am so religious about washing my hands before washing my face in the a.m & p.m I also wash around my eyes (VERY gently) & I'm so paranoid that I'll give myself some sort of infection if I touch my eyes without washing my hands.
We have such similar skin. I decided to go with all Elta MD products since that has been the first sunscreen that hasn’t broken me out or caused irritation. I’m going to try some of the other products you mentioned as well.

I love Paula's Choice! I use the exfoliate and niacinamide also. I use a cotton pad for the exfoliate, but I'm going to try patting it in with my fingers

I’ve been wanting to try the niacinamide cleanser by that brand for a while now. Maybe I should purchase it. The foaming cerave cleanser I’ve been using for so long and I don’t even wanna switch. It gets the job done and it’s not irritating at all
I trust you guys skin care. I have gotten some of the products you suggested and I they really work. I use that Black girl sunscreen on my face because I have normal to fry skin, it’s doesn’t make my skin oily at all. I need that neck cream though my skin has gotten loose because I have lost a bunch of weight and now my neck doesn’t. Look tight any more. What mascara’s do you apply?

U should try osun oil by a black owned brand luxe 44 AMAZING! It helps bumps dark spots and keeps my skin moisturized not oily and the GLOW is top tier 👌🏽
I know they say put on skin care thinnest to thickest. Being that Arazlo is a cream should the osmosis serum go on first? Bc then the serum isn’t penetrating.
I want to ask have you had any extreme facial treatments such as microneedling or chemical peels to help get your clear skin or did you solely use skincare products?
