DePalma was an analogue Director and just couldn’t survive in the digital graveyard we live in now. He isn’t my favorite but probably the most visually exciting filmmaker I’ve ever seen.
De Palma hasn't made a good movie in the past 20 years. This was his last good movie.

@@ThatGingerCuntFromTerminator2 False! Just saw his film "The Black Dahlia" released in 2004 (ig) and its a very intelligently crafted film. Hooks you in an instance as a viewer.

Man I miss directors like De Palma, in the “digital graveyard” that Hollywood has become. We took them granted back in the day, and made movies like Snake Eyes to flop.

I love the opening shot of Snake Eyes. I think the movie is flawed, but that opening, long tracking shot, is great! I like Sinise in just about everything he does, but Cage is probably the biggest over actor in Hollywood....
Just watched the original ending. I think that 1 minute difference in the end, makes all the difference. If they did a directors cut, I would buy it.

Depalma shit: Bonfire of the vanities, Wise guys, every movie he's made in the 21st century.
