Private Romeo was an amazing movie - I never expected boys of that age to be able to give such an amazing Shakespearean performance. Definitely one of the top 5 Shakespeare movies ever made.
Started crying when I saw this. I loved Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet when I was in college many years ago (I'm 74) and studied the play in high school, but suddenly it exploded for me. Shakespeare's beautiful language is not a museum piece. It's real. Thanks, Michael. (Tissue)
