Thanks to you I decided to take that leap of faith and bought the Jolly Box. Loved it so much bought the Cupid box. I have just been waiting for April to come for the new quilt sampler. This is my first sew sampler box( ok my 2nd I bought,January’s because of the hat quilt).I just love the baskets can’t wait to make them. Thank you for helping me find my happy place in sewing.

I was wondering what happened- you usually get yours before me! I kept looking for your video to open with you, but I couldn’t wait lol so I did open it. I want to do all the projects in this box but will use fabrics from my stash for some of them. I still want to watch you open yours. The star pattern it’s so cute. I stuck the needle minder on the side of a little metal flower pot I keep sewing tools in. Love the journal, going to make a cover for it with some of the fabric from the box (or maybe from last months’ previous boxes ). Happy to hear you’re having a sew-along for the monthly block - I’ll follow along with you. My kit is coming soon.

I put my sticker in the front cover of the journal 😊 I'm going to use my stash from the last two BOM for the baskets too. I bought the finishing kit for the bobbin blooms. Looking forward to your sew alongs!

After 7 years of the sewsampler I just canceled because I have so many notions and 21/2 inch strips time to sew up the fabric I have. I do like the box hope everyone who has it enjoys. Thanks

I can't wait for you to do Peaceful Baskets. Heads up as I just saw someone else sew along on that, and she had some problems with the pattern and a few block components turning out too small. I'm definitely making the Bobbin Blossoms, too but want to turn it into a baby quilt if I can

Andrea, just want to tell you how much I enjoy your sew with me videos. You always make me laugh and I don't do alot of that anymore. You are so cute! I love this month’s box. Working on all the cutting of fabric for the Bobbin Blooms quilt. Adorable fabric and needle minder. I use my needle minder when I hand bind my quilts. Can’t wait to start using the journal for my quilt designs. Much better than the grid composition books I use. Have a great week!

On the journal book, it's called the spine. No worries! I forget words all the time. I also have ADD and ADHD so it's normal for me to have that happen.

The outer bound edge of the book that holds the front and back covers and pages together is called the spine. I love the April Sew Sampler box. I am really tempted to sew the Pieceful Basket quilt along quilt.

I started quilting about a year ago. I have sewn since my teens. I have a huge stash of home decorator weight fabric. I don't have a built-up quilting cotton fabric stash, so I might break down and buy the kit. ❤ I love baskets. I have a huge collection of Longaberger baskets. Thanks for all you do for us quilters. I look forward to your videos. I was also wondering where is your SS unboxing video. You get your box before me. My SS box has to travel to Michigan. I am about a day later than you receiving my box. My box was even delayed another day because of a snafu with mail delivery. I was antsy like a kid waiting for Santa to bring presents! Lol.

I made the bag. It turned out good but the instructions included are not great. Video was slightly better. Tip is use a light fabric for your lining otherwise you can't see the lines to cut on at the end. I did not and it was a pain 🤬

I watch a sew with me on this block and the lady had an issue after the 1st trim. When she assembled the first unit she was 1/4 inch short. Watch out when trimming for that. Could be an error in pattern ...or it could be her. Is there a place to go for pattern corrections?
