It was exactly Feb 18th, 2019 as I heared your song the first time. And now we play it every year in memory on my sister. I have been in emergency services for almost 31 years , i began my career in may of 1986 . This song sums it all up , whether you ride a police cruiser , fire engine or an ambulance the shifts can be long and the pay low but the next day or 2-3 days later we come back to do it all over again . I work 24 hours on, 48 off and i can tell anyone out there if you are thinking about a career in any of the emergency services , ask yourself why do i want to do this ? There will be days and nights of little to no sleep , cold food eaten on the run , work conditions in all weather and meet people who think you are a waste of their tax dollars , see things you wish you could erase from your memory . You get up to go to do it all over again for another 12 or 24 hours and you think why am i doing this when there are better paying jobs with better hours but then you have that one call that YOU made a difference in the outcome of a very bad situation , then that's when you can say , That why i chose to work in emergency services . God bless all my fellow firefighters , over 25 years in the service myself , all the law enforcement officers , all the emts and paramedics out there , 10 years as a paramedic myself and god bless all of your families. Under Fire all of us 1st Responders are that wear the uniform. I come from a family of Fire, Police, EMS all of us have either been on a tactical EMS team or the ones that are officers are on Swatt. I have lost 4 very goods friends In The Line Of Duty as officers.

great song I was volunteer emt for 3 years after losing a 4 month old baby on July 4th that holiday will never be the same I still can't get the look of that mother's face when we told her there's nothing more we can do and now I have a baby of my own on my way great song keep up the work wish I could help but I am struggling with money and car repairs

As I saw that video the very first time was the first year after my sister (police officer in Germany) payed the highest price for protecting someone. It was exactly Feb 18th, 2019 as I heared your song the first time.
And now we play it every year in memory on my sister.
I am a commander of a EMS here in Germany but served also at the German Military as Medic.
Serving that country is a tradition in our Family.

I have been in emergency services for almost 31 years , i began my career in may of 1986 . This song sums it all up , whether you ride a police cruiser , fire engine or an ambulance the shifts can be long and the pay low but the next day or 2-3 days later we come back to do it all over again . I work 24 hours on, 48 off and i can tell anyone out there if you are thinking about a career in any of the emergency services , ask yourself why do i want to do this ? There will be days and nights of little to no sleep , cold food eaten on the run , work conditions in all weather and meet people who think you are a waste of their tax dollars , see things you wish you could erase from your memory . You get up to go to do it all over again for another 12 or 24 hours and you think why am i doing this when there are better paying jobs with better hours but then you have that one call that YOU made a difference in the outcome of a very bad situation , then that's when you can say , That why i chose to work in emergency services . God bless all my fellow firefighters , over 25 years in the service myself , all the law enforcement officers , all the emts and paramedics out there , 10 years as a paramedic myself and god bless all of your families. To the ones who gave the ultimate sacrifice for someone in need . THANK YOU AND MAY YOU REST IN PEACE , you have earned it . CFD 2123 / PARAMEDIC / 846

Holly Cahill thank you for this song it put tears in my eyes. I am a retired firefighter/medic and was part of our Tactical EMS Team. We were with L.E. on High Risk Calls. But not only is L.E. Under Fire all of us 1st Responders are that wear the uniform. I come from a family of Fire, Police, EMS all of us have either been on a tactical EMS team or the ones that are officers are on Swatt. I have lost 4 very goods friends In The Line Of Duty as officers.
