You bet the crowd was into it, Porzingas. I was there and part of our crowd. There were tons of Celtics fans in our crowd as well, but the Thunder energy is a real thing! Let's give Mark Dagnault the credit he deserves. He's a great coach.
Dort Tech wasn't phantom. Foster just delayed the call because it was at the start of the play. He flips backwards when Tatum starts moving away from him.
Great show, but would've liked to hear Bobby's and Noa's take(like Jimmy's and Sherrod's), on Mazzulla's lack of in-game adjustments(for example why did he not play Queta?)!
Give up 105 points or less and we are 16-0 till today what a mess! Brown 2 points in 2nd halve turnover after turnover. he needs to be what hes paid to be..what a joke. We are up at halftime 10 playing great driving and passing defending. then 27 in 2 quarters is pathetic. And it wasn't defense it was idiotic offense and turnovers.
It WAS defense. Their defense is next level. It just is. The consistent pressure, active hands and athleticism make it tough for any team they face. Boston may be able to mitigate this in their next meeting, but they were wholly unprepared in the 2nd half for the defensive pressure OKC applied. The only issue is trying to anticipate how to attack OKC once Holmgren and Caruso are back in the lineup. Just hard to anticipate the way OKC will utilize those players next time. Should be fun.
Wait let me make sure I got this straight…the Celtics went to the line more than twice what OKC did but you feel you were mistreated by the refs? I really have to wonder if you’re kidding. 😳
The refs were unfair in favor of the Celtics in the 1st half. Then they prolly realized this at half and started to let everything play in favor of OKC, brown and Tatum both getting jumped over on layups and no foul called, etc. Good game by OKC though, I could feel the comeback coming in the 3rd already...cashed out my bet and still made a profit haha
We opened saying no excuses. My point was more reflective of game quality. The refs completely went inconsistent on the way they were calling the game, for both teams. It hurts the product and it sucks when it affects the game. This isn’t an excuse, it’s an observation.
That loss look intentional by Jo Mazz it look like he wanted to let the team take their foot off the pedal to see what OKC would do I just hope they do and shall learn a ton about themselves and OKC!
OKC are unquestionably better than us. They are really similar except they're younger and more athletic and just better. They absolutely crushed us in that 4th quarter, they locked up Tatum easily all game, they made JB look like he had two left feet for hands, brutal. We just have to hope for a miracle with some Western Conference team beating the Thunder because we aren't beating this team in the finals.
I couldn't disagree with you more.. not sure what game you watched.. OKC outplayed Boston for a qtr n a half.. Tatum did not get locked up, he didn't even really start shooting until the second half after jaylen started screwing up.. he had 15 of the 27 second half points and took 17 shots.. ball wasn't even in his hands all night.. mazulla lost this game.. why have Tatum on the bench in the 4th?
Not really as far as the 1st half went. OKC was sloppy and had one bad run when SGA sat to start the 2nd quarter. The horrific Refs made it difficult too. OKC just overwhelmed them in the 2nd half.
@@devxplayerdevelopmentehhh idk man. Did OKC overwhelm them when Hauser missed those 3 straight good looks from 3? Or when KP had that one rim out moments after Jrue had that one rim out? Or the other wide open one KP missed after the steal and OkC all ran away from him? Tatum also missed a wide open rhythm 3z. Horford also missed a wide open one from his sweet spot. We were actually getting pretty normal looks from 3. Oh d white also had 2 wide open ones that hes been DRAINInH the last 5 games. Honestly it wasn’t until the entire momentum shifted and the crowd got into it that the Celtics had a couple possessions where they tried to isolate and the thunder forced some TOs, but honestly both of those were from Jaylen just making terrible plays and turning his back to defenders or losing the dribble. The thunder also played pretty poor on offense outside of SGA and Wiggins. I know Dort hit those 3 big 3s in the second half, but the last 2 were wide open when we were trapping and the game was mostly decided. OKc missed SO mant shots all game. AND they also weirdly got those couple offensive foul calls even though the refs had decided to swallow their whistles for the rest of the half. It was really odd. Celtics couldn’t get any calls driving into the paint. I really wasnt super impressed wirh OkCs offense or defense. BUT I think SGa is legit a prime Harden level offensive genius. THAT man def won them the game. Wow.
Still not excuse. Had We kept driving like 1st halve and we win by 10 or 15. When we gave up 105 pts or less we were 16-0 this season before this game. We need to stop thinking we just gotta show up. Its like at halftime we thought oh were up 10 lets hit a bunch of 3s to start 3rd and go up 20 instead of driving passing and kept doing what got us lead and it backfired cuz joe is a stubborn coach. He needs to set pride aside and say if it not working tonight lets win another way cuz were plenty good enough to play more then one style! But he wont. Next Brown 19 at halftime 2 in second half with 6 turnovers hes 2nd highest paid player needs to play that way. I think were fine but this was pathetic and had nothing to do with 3 games in 4 days we are better then that and you know it if your Celtic fan.
@@mattw7623I understand the frustration with shooting 2 mant 3s some nights, but go back and watch the game. Look at what happened when we drove in the second half. The best result was lockouts for 3s. But I don’t think we scored a single basket on any of the drives we did have because they were being very physical and the refs refused to blow the whistle unless it was a HUgE foul. Legit I just rewatched it. We couldn’t get a single layup or dunk at all, even though OKCs biggest defensive issue is their lack of an interior defender at the rim. We tried but honestly the driving to the rim we did do Gave us a bunch of open 3s at best.
We’re fine…. I’m not worry one bit. I know my team and come playoffs they will show out. Jrue, White, Brown and Tatum will lead the charge for another ring. Thunders had Nuggets to worry about. Joker will eat the paint alive.
Joe mazulla and the celts aint realize yet that you can't put the ball in jaylen browns hands too much and try and run the offense through him.. it gets misconstrued that because he can score, you can play through him.. when his handles are still avg at best and he doesn't pass above avg or set anyone up except porzingis (by choice).. white or tatum should always be primary ball handlers and decision makers.. last night should of been a Tatum game.. have to realize the moments and opponents
C's need to get it together, I hate how these mofo's can't keep a lead. Tatum needs to be a leader and take over or gaurds needs to help get everyone easier looks.
we need to put more pressure on tatum to guard and limit the other star player. he has shown the ability to do it in the past with kevin durant. Tatum should take it personal to guard and limit SGA.
Damn the thunder is a good team it seems like they just toy with their opponents until the 4th quarter then they put their foot on your throat I think they are the best team in the league and they have the best coach in the league
This post game was best yet. Glad to see Josue. Great show made up for the Brick show the Celtics laid. Thanks guys keep it up!
This was a bad loss but a GREAT postgame live.
Good to see Josue again on the garden report.
Very very bad loss.. idc that it was OKC.. celts gave this game away..

They did this without Chet and Caruso I'm starting to believe this gonna be OKC year

Josue, a dagger in my heart
Jaylen Brown! my dude His a Turnover machine 😭😂😅 Lol. Haha....
23:30 dont get fired Jimmy
OKC is last in the league in getting free throws and 1st in the league driving to the basket.
All time show, agreed.
This loss is on zannis for shipping joesue out
Two Josue episodes a season is an appropriate amount of Josue.
