I use vitamin E capsules with coconut oil before this my hairs are thick and medium in size and i used this for a month and my hairs are too long i am so glad....

Well, i have really long, thick and healthy hair that almost goes to my hips so let me tell you some of my tips... (Lol that rhymed)
1. Don't EVER bleach your hair.
2. Be patient, if you want really long hair, it obviously can't grow overnight. You need to be ready to wait around 6 months - 1 year.
3. Find a shampoo that suits your hair and use conditioner daily.
4. Brush your hair 1 - 2 times daily, when you wake up, before you sleep or when needed. If it gets too tangled, a lot will literally get ripped and can cause split ends. A lot can also fall out, causing your hair to get thinner.
5. To prevent your hair getting tangled when you sleep, brush it, then braid it.
That's all i do to keep my hair healthy. It's pretty simple, and i don't take any supplements or use any home remedies on my hair.

Thumb rule for healthy hair is to keep your scalp healthy...use your fingers to clean scalp while shampooing...rest will grow automatically . Oil it once in a week if u like otherwise no need ...cause ur scalp has a natural oil which spreads automatically ...don't shampoo too frequently , let the natural oil spread in ur hair ....comb it . If u don't like greasy hair u can simply wash it with plain water ....depends on ur dirt level and length ...could be after 3 or 4 days or alternate days ( for boys ) .
Conditioner prevent split ends which is a problem of long hairs not short hair...so use it if u like . Sometimes hair doesn't need anything let them breathe .

I use to follow this tips and it really helped me a lot for hair growth.
Massage luke warm oil on your scalp then apply it on your hair length twice a week . Then wash it next day with shampoo
Never forget to apply conditioner after washing your hair with shampoo
Do balayam twice a day for ten minutes . ( You can see how to do balayam in youtube.)
Massage your scalp everyday in invertion method for ten minutes once a day without oil.
Turn your hairs into braids at night.
Never sleep with open hairs.
Eat healthy.
Comb your hair twice a day.
Apply hairmask once a week.
You can apply serum for glossy hair. You can skip it . It's not necessary.
Don't use any heat appliances more than twice a month better not to use them.

Well, I mean some of the steps work. But what about the people with curly hair. I can't use a wide tooth comb and I have to brush my hair while its wet or ill lose the comb.
