I felt bad about Suki being left out of all of Nerdcore’s ATLA cyphers (including my own), and therefore thought I’d make a Suki song to try and shine a spotlight on how cool and underrated she isssssss!

Suki is one of the most under rated characters and even though she doesn't know how to bend she is ABSOLUTELY strong I think she would be happy if she saw this song!

That's one of the things I really like about Avatar. Unlike most shows, they don't make the girls in the show weak and always in danger, but instead, they make Azula, a girl, one of the strongest villains in the show and the Kyoshi warriors are only able to be defeated by Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee.
YES! And let's not forget our girl Toph, who's a woman (well, a child, but still female), blind, and is still one of the strongest characters in the show! Homie invented an entirely new form of bending that was considered IMPOSSIBLE at the time! The Last Airbender was never afraid to break boundaries, and I loved that!

I'm slower to call things "feminist propaganda" because I'm an independant and make my own decisions despite being more conservative leaning, but I do know that community who would say that she's "woke" and all that. I'm HOPING that enough people have actually seen the animated AtLA to know that this is just how Toph is and to not peg her as that "oh look, they put a strong female disabled person in there! That's such woke trash!" No, it's not. Chill out.

@@mikaelacash3791 My favorite part is the woman warrior thing only comes up early in the show once just to show sokka how wrong his view is. You see Toph and no one pays attention to her being a girl because your focus is on her being blind. Not even two minutes later it showcases how its her strength and not a crutch. Brilliant! You also hear about Azula before seeing her so you knew she was built different.
Now THAT'S a GREAT way to kick off a new year!

This is a very martial arts song. Everything appears simple, and it's very clean, but there's layers of complexity that I only got to appreciate halfway through my first listen, which caused me to go back for another the instant it was done. I don't know much about the source material, but I can definitely see this as the credits theme for a Kung Fu movie, or set to a UA-cam video of either Nioh 2 combos or about a rising female star in the FGC scene.
