Good work. The Bible has a third scenario. Yes, Repent or perish but Jesus also said the just have no need of repentance. Death is Not the death of the soul. Death is judgment at the great white throne on the new earth. Book of Revelation 20-22. It says those whose names are in the book of life go back into life on the new earth. Heaven comes down onto the earth and people will have to go in and out of the gates of heaven to get leaves from the tree of life.
