Alaskan Way Viaduct Demolition Timelapse - Extended Version

This is a timelapse video taken from a window on Western Avenue facing the demolition of the Alaskan Way Viaduct in downtown Seattle. The framerate for the video varies, but the majority of it is 1 frame every 30 seconds. Filmed on a GoPro Hero 5 from Monday May 6th 2019 to Monday May 20th 2019, and edited with Adobe Premier Rush.

Astonishing transformation. That hideous structure was a huge disfigurement. I do think, though, that one small 2-level section should've been left as a memorial sculpture as a reminder of what was once there.

Amazing to see the view that is there now. I wonder if all the apartments next to the Viaduct all these years will now see a Rent Increase for their now view? I hope not!
