What I've noted was that screech actually does it's signature sound "psst" but actually has a random set volume number. It changes every time it appears to you. I've tested this by putting my headset volume to 75, and roblox volume to max when my family wasn't home. Every time I got it spawned it was either louder or quiet than the last one. Develop methods to avoid it is by just checking ever 5 or zone 10 seconds all around you. Your preference
Sometimes psst sounds are just to throw you off, Also, i dont think its a mute screech, you saw them before they whispered as screech appears before he whispers
Fun fact, I LOVE Halts encounter, but there was this one time where Screech latched onto me just as I was entering Halts room, and that little FREAK effectively glitched the encounter and Halt didn’t spawn. I just had to walk through a blue room of nothing. Sad hours :(
tip for locked dark rooms: wait for the guiding light to show, unless you are speedrunning. if you are in a big rush or speedrunning, i recomment not wasting too much light, just listen for the key.
Figure is actually my favorite entity. The design is really well made, I really like his mechanics (even though they can be pretty annoying at times), and my favorite part about him is his sound design. But that’s just my opinion.

tip: before attempting solo, unless you are prepared mentally, it is reccomended to beat the game atleast once with a friend. make sure they do not do all the work though, in solo you need to do everything, rather than being completely carried throughout, so it is advised to be able to contribute at the very least, to be prepared for solo
I beat the game 6 times and all of them were technically solos, i always play with atleast 2 people and they end up dieing before seek, so i continue the whole game alone, i can't find people that don't actually die that fast

About "closet trollers". There are two types of them: 1) Doing it for fun almost in every run 2) Doing it once for a badge (This one can be wholesome. One guy swiped a closet away from me to get the badge, and then, in the next run, texted me in chat and allowed me to do the same thing to him.)
To fix the whole lag thing I recommended to only play this game with a friend or just one another player, as it saves up more closets and places to hide. It also makes it easier for the game to process without so many ppl panicking on your screen to find a closet.
For dark rooms, I always turn my brightness up not that it helps much but it'll suffice. Another way is to wait for the spirit to show the blue sparkle while you wait in a lighted room.
a tip for muted screech: look around every 2 or 3 seconds and make sure to look up and down. it has worked for me really well. and for figure patience is key (if you are not speed running) and all you have to do is hide in a corner then when they go up you can search for books and when they come back down go back to that corner. also it only works with big corners that figure never goes to
I have definitely had some weird moments playing doors. For me, my wifi isn't the best, which actually sometimes causes rush's sound to be muted as well as screech. A few times I've seen the lights flickering, so I have hidden in the closets, but after a little while of waiting, hide kicks me out, and rush finally stops glitching and kills me.
It's hard when you play through the figure parts for the first few tries, but then after those tries it becomes easy. I mean I've got a tip, on door 50, instead of going to the right go to the left, then get the paper and if figure is upstairs just walk normally to the right side until hes close.
I think what makes door 50 hard is the fact that the books almost are unfindable. And it doesn't make it easier that figure it getting faster with every book you collect. It's not Figure that's hard, but finding the books is what makes it difficult.
If you play with sound on you actually can hear the books, they make a glittering/fairy sound because of the entity (i forgot his name but the one that also helps with seek). You can hear the sound once your standing in the row sometimes even on the other side. Hope this helps

If guiding light can make a door glow, it could at least make a book glow after like 5 books are collected. It would be so much more helpful than just a sound you can barely hear.
Agreed, for sure. The brighter coloured ones are usually fine, pretty easy to spot but there's a few that are hard to see, especially the yellow-ish book since I almost always skip over multiple times. I wish they made them more noticeable, or even slapped a faint glow from Guiding Light on it.
random tip: if you don't have a lighter/flashlight and you r in a dark room, always look around your screen even if you don't hear screech because from my experiences, screech never makes the "psst" sound that often.
I had a weird take on #5 during my very first victorious run; I had had *TWO* Sreeches spawn almost simultaneously, and only one of them did their whisper. Perhaps the game the game didn’t expect for more than one Screech to target a player at the same time.
What i hate about Doors the most is probably those ambient noises in the background when your going through a dark room and you hear a knocking noise and you sh,, your pants. Although i still like the ambience because it adds a unique effect in Doors.
my tip for muted screech? look around you every 5 seconds, and look around you immediately after leaving a dark room. many people don't know this but screech can fallow a player out of a dark room once the player leaves it. I cannot count how many times I have caught muted screech with these. GOOD LUCK!
Here Is a Strategy for Room 50. (I always use it) When you go in, always walk to the right and look through the front and back of the book shelve. This way, you won’t meet “The Figure”, and probably, Instantly die, but may help you find either 1 - 3 books. Then, When “The Figure” is upstairs, You are going to go to the desk where the code will be located. Wait for “The Figure” To go upstairs where the combination lock is, and crouch-run as fast as you can. It will be more safer to be in the closet afterwards (If you don’t meet up with Jack) and in that case, just be in the furtherest corner from “The Figures” Path. Which Is: Far left of the library, Over 2 of the giant book shelves, Through the middle (where a closet will be located), Up the stairs, Take a right, and go to where the clogged up staircase from the left (that will be located), Take a far left, Go straight, Go down the stairs, Through the middle (again) To where the far right will be located. (Starting/Ending the path.) After, When the figure is by the far right of the library, go up the stairs (crouching) to find more books. (Make sure to hide by the closet behind the giant book shelve.
5:17 I had this situation, my entire team left, I was by myself. My parents were telling me to get off but they agreed to wait until I die (I’m not very good so I thought I would die right away). Nope, I ended up winning and getting my computer taken away because I took too long.
Solution or workaround for dark locked doors, if you're not speedrunning. Open the door and wait in the room your currently in without going in the room for 10-20 seconds, both the key and door will glow in the dark.
Rush isn’t slow because it’s laggy, instead it’s because your probably playing in multiplayer as it’s faster in a solo run. The reason why is because the players might not all find a hiding spot so some have time to search in the next room. It might also be like that because there’s this glitch that rush can spawn when there’s not enough closets for all the players, (I’m not talking about the 5-12 player runs cuz I’ve seen it happen a lot in those runs) so then the players that don’t have a hiding spot can also search in the next room. Edit: And yes it might also be because of lag
7:09 tip for rooms like these, if youre a looter just like me, or have enough knobs, have lockpicks! Find the door as fast as you can and go. Or if you need to save light, only use it when traveling across to other rooms. Usually the items glow, that being said, you can sill find them withot light. Hoped this helped!
They should make a “Experienced” lobby. Like if you’ve already beat the game you can join it and won’t have to deal with bad type players. Edit: @Keaton Norton it’s not rude? It’s just so you don’t have to deal with annoying players, trolls, bad players, etc…

Yes I did just switch from the nintendo switch to my PC to show how to avoid these things. 1. Get a better device or just play with people from around the same country/time zone to reduce lag. 2. Honestly if you cant get past him just ask for help, or accept the fact that you have a massive skill issue. 3. You got a few options. Ask them to slow down, ask for players who just wanna chill and have a good time in the lobby, or just dont get left behind. 4. Play in smaller servers. Less people means more items and hiding spots for you. 5. Look around every now and then. This happens to me too , it's pretty easy to avoid. 6. These people are kind of rare for me, because im usually carrying new people, but just hover your mouse over the exit button just in case. 7. Just leave and let them struggle. I find it funny :) But usually on room 50, people have immense skill issue (refer to 2), and they usually chill by the lock and let you do it. So unless ur carrying them then yeah just ditch them. also tell them to stop being a FAT BI- 8. Just like 1, get a better device. 9. Honestly for dark rooms, you don't even need a lighter. Try to memorize the rooms throughout all the times you played, or just look around the room before you go through the door, because you can kinda see outside the room. Or follow along the walls, but that big cringe and not real gaming. 10. There's nothing you can really do about jack, but if you could check a locker early to see if he's in it, at the risk of getting pushed out by hide while rush/ambush is on the way. Fair enough but some people have trolls who will just stand up next to them and get them killed by figure but mostly it won't happen. 3. Some people don't listen, and some might lie just to rush ahead and leave you in the dust. 4. Can't say much about that. 5. Again can't say much about that. 6. Some people leave literally last second or after the elevator closes, happens to me so much and its so annoying having to play with 2 noobs and the other "pro" guy just left 7. Some people might just want to watch and then next time they'll do it, so teach them how to do it instead of ditching them and forcing them out of their comfort zone, because then you might have just made a potentially great player leave and maybe never play doors again. 9. It doesn't matter if you memorise the layout, the key will always be in a different place and sometimes you can just forget and lots of people don't want to have to memorise. 10. Just gotta say. Figure is great. The difficulty is perfect where it’s pretty difficult but not too bad. If people hate him cause they keep dying to him then that’s just a skull issue.
I was on door 50 but figure got me after all the hard work I had to do to get there, The figure is the monster that needs to be a bit slower then he normally is. I know he gets quicker by books you get but the more books you get the more unfair the game gets but that needs to get removed for new players that are new or the first time getting to that floor.
One thing I hate about Doors is how easy it is. Everything besides Timothy and Jack is super predicable and very easy to avoid. Even then I’ve seen Jack in a closet once and Jack in the Blood Room Easter egg once, and I’ve started getting used to Timothy.

im pretty sure it's impossible for rush to spawn in a room with less than 2 closets- this is still relatable when i miss the light flicker and go on to the next room accidentally

I was too; I kept losing almost instantly due to the heart minigame due to my tendency to confuse my lefts and rights. Miraculously got past Room 50 once and on that same run, I beat Doors
I can relate to laggy servers a lot. I had got to door 50 and when the big door opened, figure went to the side, teleported to the middle again, t-posed then randomly killed me like... wth.
Dark rooms that are locked are the worst especially when you can't find a lighter/flashlight and when they're are multiple rooms to look in, there's no blue light or sparkling around the door or key, and it's just pitched black Just complete betrayal💀

Wait is Figure supposed to be hard? I started playing 2 days ago and when I got to door 50, it was easy for me. This is basically what you do, in door 50 is crouch, stay away from figure while collecting some books, memorize the correlating numbers with the shapes, then stay in a corner right next to the padlock, and put the code in. And in door 100, you can run past him, get the key, go back quietly into the power room, and once the elevator is on, make a run for it. Also for me, screech is the most annoying, if your low on health, it can literally give you half a second to see it, or else your dead, and looking for it can get you lost if your in a dark room, which in most cases with screech, you are. ( And I can’t be the only one who keeps on saying level instead of door like it’s supposed to be said 😂 )
Heres an easy fix for #9, just wait untill the guiding lights appear, they light the door up and the area near the key as well!! Just find the key and get out yo!! Or you can use a lock pick on the locked door to get past the locked dark room faster
Personally I think the figure’s difficulty is entirely based on weather or not you are playing with friends, when with friends you have more people searching the area and if the figure is camping an area with a book someone can just spin the globe to lore him away and when they are doing the closet mini game you and your friends have plenty of time to grab books, however when playing alone it’s much harder to lore him away from books without dying and you need to tediously scrounge the entire library picking up every single book while hoping his path finding doesn’t wind up where you need to go In conclusion the way this should be fixed is that the amount of books you need to find is determined by how many players are alive in the game when you open door 50, the less players the less books, the more players the more books, also after about 3 minutes the guiding light will appear on books Edit: also his aggro is kinda weird so maybe he could make a unique sound to indicate he has just aggroed to someone
As a doors speed runner who usually plays solo, level 50 is not very difficult, nor is level 100 (u can run past figure as soon as the cutscene ends), but I do agree, dark key rooms are annoying in no-shop runs, and I've lost a few runs to jack. But, this is just my opinion, other speed runners, what do you hate about doors?
ngl door 50 and 100 are super easy for me, because figure's AI is super predictable, sure his pattern isnt always the same, but his path is usually similar enough to predict

Halt is probably one of the most annoying entities in Doors, though he comes only once a run, it takes a long time to get past his hallway. LSplash should maybe put a little introduction somewhere on your screen or in the lobby for newer players who don't know how to play the game.

Timothy is the worst monster, not Screech. It’s also the reason why No Damage is so easy. It’s just the same as a normal playthrough, except you avoid drawers and look down the whole time. That’s it. Also remember to buy lockpicks from the shop because they will make the run easier, but that’s optional, since you can just get a lockpick from a box or a drawer. Wait, DRAWER!? No you gotta buy lockpicks and DONT OPEN DRAWERS!
3:25 me and my cousin experience this idk who's fault the lag or our careless teamates though we can still move but we're too late to catch up to does speedy teamates and we didn't got to hide from rush, well my cousin blame the game because there's nothing to hide, well I blame our teamates that didn't wait for us.

My most hated thing in doors is when your playing in multiplayer and all of the players with you steal all the loot for themselves leaving us with no loot and plus when the players your playing with dies so easily like they die before we even reach door 30!!! Leaving you the only one standing and when your in one of the rooms in doors and theres only 3 closets when theres 4 of you

one time recently happened i was getting chasedbyseek at the final room and final door didint load correctly and seek was about 2 - 3 seconds away from triggering its jumpscare then glicth came to the clucth at about the last 0.90 seconds
with rush one time I was playing with my friend and rush came without the light flickering, so it made both of us die. and hide is also very annoying because if rush is coming and you go to a closet the hide is in you will most likely die if you can't reach a closet on time.
Figure is like the easiest of all monsters, ambush is the hardest. You gotta get in for a while, and then hide becomes present, so the timing of when to go out of the closet and coming back in has to be precise
The thing I hate most is When you hear “Psst” and Screech isn’t there. And it happens over and over again and finally you hear “Psst” and think nothing of it, And it’s actually screech. Also silent Screech. It’s so annoying
not gonna lie , but I think figure is kind of easy for me ( my opinion dont attack me for this ) but i agree, sometimes figure is hard . because when you take most of the books or all , even if you crouch past figure , figure will get you . a tip for those who find figure hard : try looking for corners that figure doesnt go to then hide there while you look for books. try to not get too close to figure . dont make alot of sounds , opening drawers is ok as figure wont know. but be careful , once your done getting all / most of the books , figure gets faster for screech : make sure to look around during before and after a dark room it might help you find screech faster or more easier for those who play with others : if your early to a room with closets , make sure to pick a further one so the other players who are late can get the closest closets. but for those that are scared or anxious just get the closest one ig ( something I do regularly : scream when I find screech cause im scared and cause why not ? loll )
One thing I hate about screech, is sometimes he isn't at all possible to catch. Uncommonly but still a bit more common than rarely, he will go into the roof making it completely impossible to catch him.

I was playing doors and got to figure and I got 4 books. Figure backed me up into a corner but there was a closet behind me. When I tried to hide, the door would not open and just made a clicking sound. So I just stood absolutely still and survived! Surprisingly I excaped the library
Facts about figure:he will only chase you if your not crouching or if you make noise and also he goes in a loop so if you pay attention to him you'll be able to get through easier and also you know where the paper is at the desk figure never goes there
The only time I got to seek chase two was on a server with my friend. I was trying to get out but the door would not open. I had our only light source and they later died in the 90 levels to rush after getting caught in a spikey thing. They wouldn't of got stuck if they could see. Laggy servers really do suck.

The quieter “Pssst” is from others players when they get Screech. When he’s on you, it’s always the same pitch.

1) Doing it for fun almost in every run
2) Doing it once for a badge (This one can be wholesome. One guy swiped a closet away from me to get the badge, and then, in the next run, texted me in chat and allowed me to do the same thing to him.)

To fix the whole lag thing I recommended to only play this game with a friend or just one another player, as it saves up more closets and places to hide. It also makes it easier for the game to process without so many ppl panicking on your screen to find a closet.

For dark rooms, I always turn my brightness up not that it helps much but it'll suffice. Another way is to wait for the spirit to show the blue sparkle while you wait in a lighted room.

a tip for muted screech: look around every 2 or 3 seconds and make sure to look up and down. it has worked for me really well. and for figure patience is key (if you are not speed running) and all you have to do is hide in a corner then when they go up you can search for books and when they come back down go back to that corner. also it only works with big corners that figure never goes to

I have definitely had some weird moments playing doors. For me, my wifi isn't the best, which actually sometimes causes rush's sound to be muted as well as screech. A few times I've seen the lights flickering, so I have hidden in the closets, but after a little while of waiting, hide kicks me out, and rush finally stops glitching and kills me.
It's hard when you play through the figure parts for the first few tries, but then after those tries it becomes easy. I mean I've got a tip, on door 50, instead of going to the right go to the left, then get the paper and if figure is upstairs just walk normally to the right side until hes close.

I think what makes door 50 hard is the fact that the books almost are unfindable. And it doesn't make it easier that figure it getting faster with every book you collect. It's not Figure that's hard, but finding the books is what makes it difficult.
If you play with sound on you actually can hear the books, they make a glittering/fairy sound because of the entity (i forgot his name but the one that also helps with seek).
You can hear the sound once your standing in the row sometimes even on the other side.

If guiding light can make a door glow, it could at least make a book glow after like 5 books are collected. It would be so much more helpful than just a sound you can barely hear.
Agreed, for sure. The brighter coloured ones are usually fine, pretty easy to spot but there's a few that are hard to see, especially the yellow-ish book since I almost always skip over multiple times. I wish they made them more noticeable, or even slapped a faint glow from Guiding Light on it.

random tip: if you don't have a lighter/flashlight and you r in a dark room, always look around your screen even if you don't hear screech because from my experiences, screech never makes the "psst" sound that often.
The dark locked room is ESPECIALLY annoying when it’s one of those rooms when there are four rooms in each corner, and you have to find a key.

I had a weird take on #5 during my very first victorious run; I had had *TWO* Sreeches spawn almost simultaneously, and only one of them did their whisper. Perhaps the game the game didn’t expect for more than one Screech to target a player at the same time.

What i hate about Doors the most is probably those ambient noises in the background when your going through a dark room and you hear a knocking noise and you sh,, your pants. Although i still like the ambience because it adds a unique effect in Doors.

my tip for muted screech? look around you every 5 seconds, and look around you immediately after leaving a dark room. many people don't know this but screech can fallow a player out of a dark room once the player leaves it. I cannot count how many times I have caught muted screech with these. GOOD LUCK!
Here Is a Strategy for Room 50. (I always use it)
When you go in, always walk to the right and look through the front and back of the book shelve. This way, you won’t meet “The Figure”, and probably, Instantly die, but may help you find either 1 - 3 books.
Then, When “The Figure” is upstairs, You are going to go to the desk where the code will be located. Wait for “The Figure” To go upstairs where the combination lock is, and crouch-run as fast as you can. It will be more safer to be in the closet afterwards (If you don’t meet up with Jack) and in that case, just be in the furtherest corner from “The Figures” Path.
Which Is:
Far left of the library,
Over 2 of the giant book shelves,
Through the middle (where a closet will be located),
Up the stairs,
Take a right, and go to where the clogged up staircase from the left (that will be located),
Take a far left,
Go straight,
Go down the stairs,
Through the middle (again) To where the far right will be located. (Starting/Ending the path.)
After, When the figure is by the far right of the library, go up the stairs (crouching) to find more books. (Make sure to hide by the closet behind the giant book shelve.

Solution or workaround for dark locked doors, if you're not speedrunning.
Open the door and wait in the room your currently in without going in the room for 10-20 seconds, both the key and door will glow in the dark.
I use that start sometimes, works like a charm
You could also buy and/or find lockpicks and use those for dark locked rooms
Rush isn’t slow because it’s laggy, instead it’s because your probably playing in multiplayer as it’s faster in a solo run. The reason why is because the players might not all find a hiding spot so some have time to search in the next room. It might also be like that because there’s this glitch that rush can spawn when there’s not enough closets for all the players, (I’m not talking about the 5-12 player runs cuz I’ve seen it happen a lot in those runs) so then the players that don’t have a hiding spot can also search in the next room.

7:09 tip for rooms like these, if youre a looter just like me, or have enough knobs, have lockpicks! Find the door as fast as you can and go. Or if you need to save light, only use it when traveling across to other rooms. Usually the items glow, that being said, you can sill find them withot light. Hoped this helped!

Yes I did just switch from the nintendo switch to my PC to show how to avoid these things.
1. Get a better device or just play with people from around the same country/time zone to reduce lag.
2. Honestly if you cant get past him just ask for help, or accept the fact that you have a massive skill issue.
3. You got a few options. Ask them to slow down, ask for players who just wanna chill and have a good time in the lobby, or just dont get left behind.
4. Play in smaller servers. Less people means more items and hiding spots for you.
5. Look around every now and then. This happens to me too , it's pretty easy to avoid.
6. These people are kind of rare for me, because im usually carrying new people, but just hover your mouse over the exit button just in case.
7. Just leave and let them struggle. I find it funny :) But usually on room 50, people have immense skill issue (refer to 2), and they usually chill by the lock and let you do it. So unless ur carrying them then yeah just ditch them. also tell them to stop being a FAT BI-
8. Just like 1, get a better device.
9. Honestly for dark rooms, you don't even need a lighter. Try to memorize the rooms throughout all the times you played, or just look around the room before you go through the door, because you can kinda see outside the room. Or follow along the walls, but that big cringe and not real gaming.
10. There's nothing you can really do about jack, but if you could check a locker early to see if he's in it, at the risk of getting pushed out by hide while rush/ambush is on the way.

I was on door 50 but figure got me after all the hard work I had to do to get there, The figure is the monster that needs to be a bit slower then he normally is. I know he gets quicker by books you get but the more books you get the more unfair the game gets but that needs to get removed for new players that are new or the first time getting to that floor.

One thing I hate about Doors is how easy it is. Everything besides Timothy and Jack is super predicable and very easy to avoid. Even then I’ve seen Jack in a closet once and Jack in the Blood Room Easter egg once, and I’ve started getting used to Timothy.

Wait is Figure supposed to be hard? I started playing 2 days ago and when I got to door 50, it was easy for me. This is basically what you do, in door 50 is crouch, stay away from figure while collecting some books, memorize the correlating numbers with the shapes, then stay in a corner right next to the padlock, and put the code in. And in door 100, you can run past him, get the key, go back quietly into the power room, and once the elevator is on, make a run for it. Also for me, screech is the most annoying, if your low on health, it can literally give you half a second to see it, or else your dead, and looking for it can get you lost if your in a dark room, which in most cases with screech, you are. ( And I can’t be the only one who keeps on saying level instead of door like it’s supposed to be said 😂 )
Heres an easy fix for #9, just wait untill the guiding lights appear, they light the door up and the area near the key as well!! Just find the key and get out yo!!
Or you can use a lock pick on the locked door to get past the locked dark room faster
Personally I think the figure’s difficulty is entirely based on weather or not you are playing with friends, when with friends you have more people searching the area and if the figure is camping an area with a book someone can just spin the globe to lore him away and when they are doing the closet mini game you and your friends have plenty of time to grab books,
however when playing alone it’s much harder to lore him away from books without dying and you need to tediously scrounge the entire library picking up every single book while hoping his path finding doesn’t wind up where you need to go
In conclusion the way this should be fixed is that the amount of books you need to find is determined by how many players are alive in the game when you open door 50, the less players the less books, the more players the more books, also after about 3 minutes the guiding light will appear on books
Edit: also his aggro is kinda weird so maybe he could make a unique sound to indicate he has just aggroed to someone

As a doors speed runner who usually plays solo, level 50 is not very difficult, nor is level 100 (u can run past figure as soon as the cutscene ends), but I do agree, dark key rooms are annoying in no-shop runs, and I've lost a few runs to jack. But, this is just my opinion, other speed runners, what do you hate about doors?
ngl door 50 and 100 are super easy for me, because figure's AI is super predictable, sure his pattern isnt always the same, but his path is usually similar enough to predict

Halt is probably one of the most annoying entities in Doors, though he comes only once a run, it takes a long time to get past his hallway. LSplash should maybe put a little introduction somewhere on your screen or in the lobby for newer players who don't know how to play the game.

Timothy is the worst monster, not Screech.
It’s also the reason why No Damage is so easy. It’s just the same as a normal playthrough, except you avoid drawers and look down the whole time. That’s it. Also remember to buy lockpicks from the shop because they will make the run easier, but that’s optional, since you can just get a lockpick from a box or a drawer. Wait, DRAWER!? No you gotta buy lockpicks and DONT OPEN DRAWERS!
I dislike how during the seek chase, the doors sometimes glitch out and don’t open, ending up in me getting killed.

My most hated thing in doors is when your playing in multiplayer and all of the players with you steal all the loot for themselves leaving us with no loot and plus when the players your playing with dies so easily like they die before we even reach door 30!!! with rush one time I was playing with my friend and rush came without the light flickering, so it made both of us die. and hide is also very annoying because if rush is coming and you go to a closet the hide is in you will most likely die if you can't reach a closet on time.
Figure is like the easiest of all monsters, ambush is the hardest. You gotta get in for a while, and then hide becomes present, so the timing of when to go out of the closet and coming back in has to be precise

a tip for those who find figure hard : try looking for corners that figure doesnt go to then hide there while you look for books. try to not get too close to figure . dont make alot of sounds , opening drawers is ok as figure wont know.
but be careful , once your done getting all / most of the books , figure gets faster
for screech : make sure to look around during before and after a dark room
it might help you find screech faster or more easier
for those who play with others : if your early to a room with closets , make sure to pick a further one so the other players who are late can get the closest closets. but for those that are scared or anxious just get the closest one ig

One thing I hate about screech, is sometimes he isn't at all possible to catch. Uncommonly but still a bit more common than rarely, he will go into the roof making it completely impossible to catch him.
4:59 it happens a lot in luigis mansion, but i havent really seen anyone do this in other muliplayer games

When i started playing Doors, i hated level 50 figure, but now that's my favourite door. I think that it's perfect.

Note: Timothy is one of them because you might not expect him to be in the drawer you open.
I was playing doors and got to figure and I got 4 books. Figure backed me up into a corner but there was a closet behind me. When I tried to hide, the door would not open and just made a clicking sound.
So I just stood absolutely still and survived!
Surprisingly I excaped the library
What I hate the most is, the lights glitching and not flickering but rush comes
Facts about figure:he will only chase you if your not crouching or if you make noise and also he goes in a loop so if you pay attention to him you'll be able to get through easier and also you know where the paper is at the desk figure never goes there
And I hate locked dark rooms...especially when there is multiple dark rooms at the endgame sequence because I can't catch a break until door 99 or so
What I hate is the laggy server, Rush was coming and it would not let me in the closet though I was pressing "E" to get in.

The only time I got to seek chase two was on a server with my friend. I was trying to get out but the door would not open. I had our only light source and they later died in the 90 levels to rush after getting caught in a spikey thing. They wouldn't of got stuck if they could see. Laggy servers really do suck.
Timothy doesn’t give you a warning, he just comes out at you and takes your health
What I dislike about the game is that when you become a pro/master, you breeze by until door 100. Then you wish for the 2nd floor update aka 200 doors
I consider ambush at room 90 hardest, Figure is easy probably for me but for some people he's hard for the glitches and him hitting through walls
