oh i get why hibiki understands things. hibiki knows the rangers are corrupted and understand it from his parents. but also gets why dragon keepers are needed.
I chalk Hibiki’s behavior to the cult he was raised in. Even after his father’s death, he believed that he wasn’t wrong, but he also began adapting the things he’d seen and heard the rangers doing. So, on one hand, he believes the monsters are a godsend, but he also buys into the “justice” and way of life the rangers speak of and his father taught him. Basically, he’s good with whatever outcome because that’s just the way it is.
People are jumping the gun saying it’s rushed, but all of the episodes so far have rearranged scenes and they likely moved them later to match the context/make them flow better, since they’re likely getting to 2 big arcs in the 24 episodes (split cour), though some minor scenes will likely be skipped for pacing. Fun fact: Goku’s VA voices the Dragon mascot and Pink Battalion’s JFC shares Akainu’s VA from One Piece. The scene with Red is basically what people think of The Boys. Hekiru is a parody of people with ‘bonds and the power of friendship,’ as he gets slimy while saying that and is willing to kill a fellow rookie, just to kill a Duster. From what I heard, there will be a break next week due to golf (I blame Tokita.) 17:50 - Hibiki is an idealist that wants everyone to coexist and they can’t coexist with the Dragon Keepers as they are currently, as he doesn’t want either side to be destroyed (showed hints last episode.)
honestly they are some things they skipped for this episode like hibiki saying how he feels about the whole "war" and what his plans were and most imporantly he did say how he was saved in the backstory but i think they might be planning to maybe do a flashback next episode and add those things or maybe reveal it later in the anime so i am not gonna say well a lot of the dialogue was skipped in general especially between them like how they are not so different cant get iinto details but they did connect more in the manga and a lot of parts from the fight were also cut the plan was explained better and why he was so determined to go through with it (makes sense since there was more diologue there)the backstory which i liked a lot and was very interesting for me yeah a lot of parts from it were cut and diologue so the impact was definitely not the same and maybe it didnt feel complete for anime onlys i dont know honestly i am getting worried for the next episodes now oh btw the answer to that 17:39 the answer to why is that they skipped the diologue so of course YOU woudnt know lol ultimately hibiki is an extremely nice person a pacifist wants the best for everyone doesnt care if they are human or monster like he said at the previous ep he wants them to leave together in peace and he now understands that the rangers are corrupted because of his talk with him last episode and some other things lets just say he kept his eyes and ears open who knows maybe they will find a way to include these things somehow🤷♀
They rushed A LOT in this ep, but even if it was for just a few minutes, BEST GIRL IS FINALLY HERE. Hisui (Green Junior First Rank, the blond girl with Green Keeper) is just awesome, cool, and built different LOL At last, we're seeing her in anime form.

A bit of stuff that got skipped could be flashbacked to next episode but just in case it doesn't: Hibiki's parents were really shitty and forced him to go to anti-ranger protests. There's quite a bit more to it that'll undoubtedly be explored later because there's other characters whose backstories are linked to the same specific invader executive and a few others who have similar backstories to Hibiki and pretty much none of them are cool with Red Keeper. In fact, remember how Pink Keeper and Green Keeper both tried and failed to diffuse the situation before Red murdered his subordinate? Yeah even some of the Dragon Keepers are just action figures being jerked around to feed into Red's ego. One other thing, in the manga there's a specific line D says after Hibiki cuts off his own arm where he says something like "I couldn't get your eyes right before because I couldn't tell where you were looing, but I think I've got it now."
Sakurama is aware of the corruption within the Keepers. He was also listening in on the reunion when Red Keeper killed his second-in-command. I'd say this was the first episode to feel rushed compared to the manga.
Hibiki is such a Chad to just cut his hand like that, just shows he ain't no just talk and how much strong is his resolve and is not afraid to go at such extremes! He is my favourite for a reason.
The third episode was really good, but with this episode, this anime is now potentially better than or equal to Chainsaw Man, Dungeon Meshi, Kaiju no 8, and/or Solo Leveling!
I don't really understand why you're flipping out about the whole "let nature do its thing". Predators eat other creatures. That's normal. We as humans can choose to interfere, preferring the kitten's life, or we can decide to stay put. Both are valid human behavior. By thinking one is unthinkable I think you're letting your bias get the better of you lol.

2:33 Have ever seen Power Rangers Turbo? In the version, the Blue Ranger is actually a kid, and when he morphs, he grows into an adult form. What if that’s the same situation with this Blue? I just found it weird that he was checked by a subordinate that’s so young. Also, she’s very informal with him, that it reminds me of the “childhood friends” archetypes. Then, there’s also the fact that our yellow girl is just taking a dig at the one who tried to disrespect her.
for manga readers that are saying this episode feels rushed, i don't think it's rushed at all, i think it's the right pacing for an anime adaptation.. i haven't read the manga so i can't really say much about the skipped parts.. that being said tho, manga and anime don't follow the same format.. strictly following the source material would make the anime episodes end in weird scene sequence.. that's why it's called "adaptation".. also, spending an entire episode on a flashback and another episode fighting a minor enemy this early in the season would be weird as an anime series, even if it was a 24-eps season, that'd still be slow-pacing.. as for the skipped part with hibiki, there are people saying about rearranging the scenes.. it's one method anime studios do to make the scenes follow a more interesting sequence (with the permission of the author, of course)..
This episode was really rushed, the fight with Hekiru last way more in the manga, we understand Hibiki's motivations and determination a bit more and why D decides to go along with his plan. I recommend reading chapters 8 to 12 in order to understand better what's going in the second half of this episode.

My simple theory on why D imitates Red a lot better now it's because he got to know him, he wasn't even close before
