Tank Time: Living Art

A lot of people say axolotls are like living artwork. They may be a pet, but sometimes they look more like a picture or a painting. The other day when the tank lights were off I saw Teenie sitting like this on the log. I thought she looked silly, so I set up the camera hoping to watch her move around. She stayed like this for over 8 minutes! The fish swam by, I think I saw a shrimp, and she flapped her gills, but other than that Teenie never moved!
