God bless you Pastor Elvis. This has been my regret for years for disobeying God to marry a natural man. I thought age was against me and that I was lacking behind. And it hasn’t been easy however my only strength is my restored relationship with God. And for the sake of Christ Jesus I choose to remain faithful and submissive in marriage. However when it comes to the things of GOD, I choose to be on the Lord’s side.

A wise man will not leave battles for his family but rather an inheritance. My mind was taken back to 2 Kings 4 to a prophet who left a debt for his family to battle. Though as a prophet he may be regarded a 'good man', but leaving this battle of poverty for his family to fight is what I see happening in our Ghanaian communities. Though some men may not be evil as Nabal , we leave out some essentials of life and make our families battle poverty. May the Lord have mercy on us.
