My dream strat if only it was Olympic White. 1965 Olympic White Stratocaster is my absolute most favorite Strat ever.
That guitar probably has at least 5,000 gigs and god knows how many jams, rehearsals
and ripping-in-the-cellar hours on it. Heavy relic the real way - by the hands of players
for 53 years, and their blood sweat and tears on it and in it. Magnificent example of a
working man's instrument, still fully functional and classic. A '65 Strat through a '65
Deluxe Reverb (even if it is a reissue)? This is the sound all Strat players crave. Plug it
in, turn it up, play, smile.
Jesus god almighty that is a stratocaster. Mark always plays well but you can tell when he is crushing on a guitar (see the 345 earlier this week) because he plays with the blood. I bet he will shed a tear when it goes out the door later. But at least he got to play it. Great job. And of course happy birthday to Norm!

I was all set to be pissed if he didn't play any SRV and then he goes and plays my favorite Stevie Ray tune couldn't stand the weather. And that thing sounds killer you can really tell Mark was having fun .
