late response (and wall of text sorry) in the song he sings about forgetting all the pain you have, which does fall in line with both the "merciful" aspect of death/him giving mc the choice to kill him and have a painless death
*I feel like the embodiment of death being an ENFP fits perfectly. Death is never cruel or violent, it's just sad and inevitable. The Grand Reaper being a kind soul that guides you to the after life is a pretty cool concept and I love that for Ryoji! 💛*
