Hi Vinny, this is a really cool trick.
Sorry if this comment is long.
I have a few comments and questions.
I had learned to crimp a card by using your thumb nail and making an x in the card, from each corner to corner.
I like the crimp that you made cause it doesnt mess up the card and it seems less conspicuous.
    Thanks.
I would like to crimp both corners like you did, but only crimping one corner prevents the spectator from seeing any separation lines in the deck from the front view.
You mentioned to have the spectator cut the cards once or a few times after they learn what their card is. What if the spectator cuts the deck at the crimp, then cuts once more, separating the cards? Now we have a problem.
If they only cut once at the crimped card, the selected card is now on the bottom of the deck, and the crimped card is now on top.
I guess we could cut the deck once more to put the 2 cards back together in the middle.
A good way to do this without letting the spectator know you are cutting the deck once more is to say that you think that you know where their card is, and then cut the deck. But, while holding the top half, show the card on the bottom of the top half or the show the card on top of the bottom half. They will say you are wrong, of course.
When showing 1 of those cards, and they tell you that the card you showed is not their card, show the other card, for another guess, lol.
    Then complete the cut.
You can say that you did not think the bottom card was theirs , but you were almost certain the other card was, and take it from the top of the deck to show it again. This card was on top of the bottom half, and you knew that. 😊.
I would rather cut the deck a few times myself, avoiding the crimped and selected cards.
I wouldnt want the spectator to feel the crimp in the joker if he cut at it.
Same with having the spectator hold the joker before putting it in the deck.
Again, they could feel the crimp(s).
I would rather leave the joker on table, have the cut the deck and look at the bottom card from the top half.
Then i can put the Joker on top of the lower half, then putting the selected card on top of the Joker.
    Any thoughts or suggestions?

Amazing as usual. The effect of this trick is not to be underestimated because the spectator has the deck practically in their hands the entire time. Nicely done, my friend!

I think I've finally mastered the pinky break to where I can I can get one under the top card, and that was more of an accident than anything else, but I forgot any card tricks using that slight because I thought it was a difficult slight.
If that deck you mentioned didn't refer to Godzilla, then I wouldn't give a rat's crap what deck you're using.

These cards are a lot more expensive than normal ones and how can someone just bend and crimp them?! 😂(Coz I think they're $608 for the Duo set...)
