I just hit MR on Sunbreak. I played HH and LBG on MHW for over 400 hours. I took about a year off to try some other games. This is a nice simple guide, I’ll try your builds and let you know how they worked out. 😊
Hi there! It takes a while but once you aim properly (head to tail) then you can finish the hunt with lots of ammo to spare. Another tip (which I'll include in future videos like these), eat for Marksman and Booster, and if you have extra slots for steadiness (sniper jewel) then eat for Temper. Also consider your palamute and palico setup since they actually do contribute damage in the hunt.
Just getting into Rise/Sunbreak and ran HH, Hammer, Swaxe, and DB through MR 3. Just built an LBG load out with Nargacuga and am working on a Magnamalo build for sticky… I wasn’t expecting it to be as fun as it is 😊
I could be wrong, but some decorations used for early high rank are not accessible until late hr or even endgame, thanks for great guide, made game easier
I have 100+ hours with a LS on my main character but want to use LBG on my secondary to play with my wife, so this guide really really helps to see what direction I need to go, thank you!
So far I only have Dual Blades and Light Bowgun, I'm still seeing if I'll make HBG because so much changed and it doesn't feel as nice to use without Sticky. I haven't gone around other weapons yet, so I can't promise.
Ive got the astalos+ gun, but i dont have any benefit for piercing. I cant use it like so. How do i change that? It does only rapid fire on normal 2 ammo
Was hunting Jyuradatos. Find it hella annoying fighting up close. Decided to start building a bunch of LBG. Your tutorials really helps a lot since I can plan the upgrade tree so no resources would be wasted. Cheers mate!
Unfortunately the slot combination is quite limited for this build friendly set, though if you have better charms you can adjust to different combinations since charms can greatly improved the builds. Though I highly recommend investing in unlocking vaik since it also helps out in master rank.
Hi there! Regarding the letters after, no letter is Low rank, S is High Rank, then later on you get X for Master rank. In short, the letters just show what armor rank they are from.

@@uswr2848 no worries, that’s what the channel is about anyway. As for how to unlock the Vail S, you’ll need armored bream from the Argosy using the herb items. Though my high rank sets are different so it’s not a must. Hope this helps.
I’d love to know some normal elemental lbgs for MR, currently using the Sinister Bowgun from the magnamelo tree as it has most ammo types available but no rapid fire

I haven't updated it, but rapid fire pierce bowguns would be what you're looking for. I have one on this channel somewhere for Sunbreak. For Base Rise, the one I shared here is already the strongest.

Yes I do! I have to do research and test a little. Because what I used before might not work because of the Sticky Nerf. Pre-nerf, we just sticky spam and can finish the game no problem. But now it's not a good option. That's the main reason I haven't made one just yet because of these changes

Hi there. For low rank, youre very restricted with ammo because of the skills you can put together so normal shots first, when you reach high rank you can go for pierce. I'd you manage to get a budget charm for recoil and reload speed then you can use Pierce, which is way stronger than normal.
Hi there it either means you haven’t unlocked them yet or you’re the other gender. Certain pieces have different names for opposite gender. For that kindly search online. I’ll try to improve my video next time for multi gender pieces
For Sunbreak, it isn't. Sunbreak isn't done so late game sets are always changing. Depending on TU5, and if it really is the last update, I'll release a Master Rank build progression for the ones I already made.
@@pjuice2117 hehe you’re gonna have to try to make more than that actually. The 3-2-1s have been available in base rise. Been promoting it since I started making builds. It doesn’t have to be weakness exploit, as long as you have the slots. If you’re after weakness exploit with slots, the best you can get is weakness exploit 3-1-1 which is borderline god charm.

What does the rapid fire skill do?
i'm RC2, idon't have the Vaik armor unlocked, any replacements?

Yes it does. The first parts for low to high rank are builds for base rise.

@@jackasad2180 elemental hands down. There are some like the Metal Raths that spread could do more, but most cases it will always be elemental.
