- Stellar Blade is a highly anticipated game that boasts high octane action and... "interesting" character designs. With all the trailers and early footage, I wrote this game off as some trashy, over-hyped and super sexualized game, and while I do think the sexualization is a TAD overdone, I think the game has a lot more to offer than that. The Stellar Blade demo definitely changed my mind about this game, how about you?

It's people that look at the game and think it's all "fan service" and are afraid to "like" a game that features an attractive female protag. They don't look at the gameplay trailers and just judge based off Eve and other chars, apparently. Simply put, exactly what this streamer guy was saying. Judges it heavily before he even gives it a shot.
I've been hype for this game since it was known as Project Eve and NOT because of Eve, lol. The combat, gore, blood, music, everything was top-notch from the first trailer. How the hell did that first trailer NOT look fun as hell?

Ikr, I've noticed it's mostly grown ass men calling potential buyers coomers, the game ain't even for kids so it can be explicit if it wants to be. I can't stop replaying the boss, and trying to no-damage run it.
I've been able to consistently perfect parry now.
nah this shit a day 1 for me immediately....due to the combat, skill tree looks massive, graphics will look even better, story seems really dope, the music is superb etc....this game screams PlayStation 2000s era and I love it....also watch the IGN new gameplay they just posted and the 6 minute overview trailer dawg!

The short ponytail has nothing to do with being able to see the ass better. It's already been mentioned in interviews and the purpose of being able to pick the short ponytail is because of hair physic complexity and the long ponytail potentially being distracting during combat to some people.

It’s pretty interesting to see players having all kinds of different experiences with this game. Some really struggle with it and have a hard time grasping the combat. But people who played Sekiro or Lies of P are able to pick it up pretty quickly. It’s definitely attracting the souls-like audience, but it’s also pulling in people who have never played this style of combat before. Huge W game

You had plenty of opportunities to, idk, watch the trailers to form and opinion rather than let randoms on twitter influence you. The majority of “that crowd” was “overboard” simply in response to the weirdos attacking the game for being a “coomer” game.
Xenoblade is technically a "coomer" game, too, and he loves that series, so I don't get why he hates this game.

If you get into the combat properly, this legit might be better then majority of fromsoft combat. Its up there with sekiro, that boss was So much fun. I don t care for the ass, but the combat and enemy designs are top notch.

Pretty good vid. The game seems decent, and yes; Aloy is ugly. Eve is definitely prettier, although time will tell which is more fun to play.
What is even more messed up is that Aloy was quite pretty in the first game, then in the second I have no clue what they did to her.

Feel like I’m in the same exact boat as you. REALLY glad they dropped a demo, had fun with it and it would’ve been a day one cop IF the story seemed interesting. But it’s just giving a kind of dull vibe. Definitely going to play at some point though.
Also, Eve, kind of annoys the shit out of me already lol I can already tell imma dislike her and she shoulda died in the beginning not Tachy🤷♂️
I think the story is just something you’ll need to let cook. If NieR Automata dropped a demo and it was just the first part of the game in the factory, I’d probably think the story is lame but it ended up being amazing.
The studios other game does have a surprisingly good story for being a ass gacha mobile game. So we know they are competent story writers already at least. Can't really say much from that short demo, like AvengingFossilx say if Nier had a demo like this the story would be assumed to be extremely dull.
Tachy was bland, and i am glad she is not the main character. But don't worry. You haven't seen the last of her in the game.
@@AvengingFossilx I disagree about the Nier thing. If the demo ended with 9S and 2B having to kill themselves after fighting the giant machines, people would at least be interested. And if they showed a story trailer after that, it would do much more than this game did.
Story trailers is what got me into Nier. I’ve seen the trailers for this game, it looks very un interesting. I’m not saying that it’s going to be bad, obviously I have no idea but for $70 I would need even the slightest interest in the story.

the game is great overall and the story kinda interesting. ive heard the complaint about the combat feels clunky i kinda get it but i think mostly because it locked by skill level and also this is a demo so its good. the parry systems is great idk why you're saying its like sekiro parry, i think it more to lies of p parry system and its better for games like this. you just need to get the timing right or just git gud.
