The Akwasidae 2023 Festival at Camberwell Green,
organised by The Southwark Black Parents Forum (@bpf_southwark), was a first for Southwark.
Along with Radiate Festival's Windrush75 Celebration at Burgess Park (@radiatefestival), Akwasidae 2023 was one of this summer's cultural and historical landmark events for the family.
The Kings & Queens Procession, Acrobats, Arts & Crafts, Bouncy Castle, Dancers, Drummers, Food (including the Ice Cream Van!) and Live Music made this a true celebration of Ghana's Royal Heritage & Vibrant Culture.
What a way to show love and appreciation for the diversity of a Borough, City and the Nations represented here in the UK!
