But she was invited in the past though. I forgot which tournament but she was in a team with bobon and hada.
@@av88id85 That was the one where the servers were broken and they had to play Arenas instead for the tournament. And even that was laggy.
@@trysephiroth007 there was another event with Bruce and IPN. But she compete with Pros too, so it's hard to make her experience shine against other monsters
The amount of clips if Selen gets to join VSaikyou.
Add in to that the possibility of a purple dragon facing off with the purple onion gaming neko maid.
Selen might be able to use her ping as an excuse to take a point off, but in the end they would still need Hal to raise the point limit, which he might have to do given how many vtubers are hitting master now, making team comps much harder to build.
unfortunately, i doubt having high ping could be used as an excuse to take a point off because qu (with similar ping) didn’t get any point reduction in vsaikyou ss1 and ss2. but i do think it might be possible for selen to get a point off for language barrier if she gets teamed with other jp vtubers since cr cup had that rule too for pro players that couldn’t speak jp.

they will definitely!! get invited!! but i think the problem with selen probably is communication :') so its depends on her or the team members shell be with
The fact is that she have to be invited as a leader in the first place as they usually start with the higher rank and those would invite other people to join. And obviously if a leader is already a master (or ranked high as a master) they can't invite another master to their team.
@@rodpepo6372 This last tournament Ars (who is Plat) was an invited player. Also several Diamond players were invited. The bigger problem is that only one of the invited players speaks English, and it's very unlikely a foreign player would be invited. Dtto is maybe one of the few that could be, but as said she and Selen can't be on the same team. By the way, the invited player that speaks English is Hoshikawa, who I'm honestly extremely surprised has never collabed with Niji EN before. I know a lot of the girls have said in the past they loved Hoshikawa before they joined Niji.

IIRC There's no differemce between Plat below in the point system. Plat 4 and bronze have the same points. Also the player should have finished at least one season in rank(IIRC the counted rank was the highest rank achieved in thr past 3 seasons) ShibuyaHal made it like this cause good players from other fps games might get invited and it would not be fair. He also reviews new entries.

Idk if they'll ever play together at VSaikyo but maybe they have a shot at CR cup. Selen's problem isn't really her being too good but rather the language barrier. Selen will have to do some jp reps if she wants to join at VSaikyo or she could get invited and bring in her nijien members.
IIRC ShibuyaHal mention in a stream there's a probability that this Vsaikyo will be the last. He's worried that it will become to sweaty and as the tournament name suggest (Vtuber Most Cooperative Tournament) it's about having fun playing as a team more than which vtuber is the strongest.
but the last 2 tournaments were getting more and more casual though... and the higher rank teams are just the teams with unbalanced point because they have players that are good but don't grind rank seriously or at all.

Even if selen couldnt play with dtto, i would still want too watch her play with maybe a full EN team or maybe with ollie or something ( im not sure what ollie's ranking is) would be pretty cool. Ollie and Selen combo sounds scary
Vsaikyo its basically impossible unless they make changes, maybe a higher tier version, but yeah, it's basically why IMO, Kuzuha and Kanae and some others can still play with each other in most tourneys even though they have the skills to be master. This Vsaikyo also didnt include Shinomiya or Qpi too from Vspo. I think they will have to settle for other tourneys and even Vsaikyo, if it comes back with the same format, a lot of the same players will probably stop participating as often because vtubers are really starting to rank up lately

Too strong to be in tournament
After Qu reached master. She can't join mostly Vtuber tournament. She had to join show match with pro players instead.

Well i loved watching kuzuha's team win the tournament but to be fair that team comp was a bit BS.... They didnt rank higher because they got sick of cheaters and they had a lot of tournament experience. Shibuya hal didnt even care to raise their points.
Perhaps i´m wrong but if the reason to know japanese its only the communication with your team well having Reimu in that comp wouldnt be a problem. Gamer joke aside, the ping should be viable excuse to reduce some points.
Kuzuha being 7 points was insane.
It's an effort to get some balance but ofc it doesn't work too well because most of them don't play rank seriously or at all. Still he can rise the points of people he knows are better than their last rank just the same as he determines the points of masters/preds but no one complains anyway because the popular ones bring the viewers.
I mean, i think everyone here knows dtto won vsaikyo once already with teammates weaker than selen. It's obvious they would just crush the lobby together if there are no other unbalanced teams, last seasons the really good players always got 2 weak teammates.
