Very rarely have I come across a lecture on Islamic dress code, and never have I heard more detail than the typical 'loose clothing' and 'hair covered', so Jazak'ALLAHu khayran!
Yes,jilbaab refers to the clothing which falls from the head fown to the toes covering every inch of the woman,meeting its(the hijab's) conditions,and it has a face veil attached to it ,covers everything
It is a difference of opinion amongst the scholars but the safer opinion is that it is. At the very least, all the scholars agree it’s at least highly recommended
