If you know chocolate eclairs, this is what the choux pastry is, far from bread. It's nice and light, melt in the mouth and not even difficult to bake. According to me, it can never flop. I made this choux pastry more than 45yrs ago, for the very 1st time, in my domestic science class, whilst at school, just follow instructions . Not difficul
Wow that cream cake looks amazing Mrs Fiona, the layers sure enough make it a puff pastry!! Thank ya for sharing another wonderful recipe mam, you have a good weekend!! Dan
The texture and taste is something new to me too, never knew it is so delicious, my family was amazed. Thanks for stopping by Dan, you have a wonderful weekend!
Excellent recipe! As a Polish have to say that you did great job! That's first time when I saw that someone not from Poland showing how to do this cake. Thank you😊 Fun fact: the cake name "Karpatka" comes from the mountain range located in central Europe, because it's look a bit like mountain and hills especially when you sprinkle it with powdered sugar☺️❤️
The texture and taste is something new to me too, never knew it is so delicious, my family was amazed. Thanks for stopping by CB, you have a wonderful weekend!
I love the appearance and idea of this cake! It's a new one to me but it's something I may have to try soon - thank you for sharing the recipe Fiona! Amazing work as always! 😋🙂
Yes Elliott, I can say this cake has its uniqueness and it taste amazingly delicious. I normally distribute the cake to friends but I'm surprised we could finish it within our family. Thanks for stopping by 🥰❤️💕
Hello, That cream cake looks so delicious !!! Loved the contrast of the same, It must be so soft and smooth, Loved the wonderful shots and videography !!! Happy Weekend 😊

Looks super delicious as always lovely lady. I shall give this one a go tomorrow. Pastry cream and choux pastry, perfect combo. Thank you dear friend. Take care
@@gracioustreatz7231 You are so right Fiona. I made this yesterday and it was absolutely delicious. I will be making this again ...as requested. Thanks for always delivering top recipes.
Karpatka is one of my favorite desserts ever. So fresh and smooth cream. I had it on my to do list, too, for my channel. Meanwhile, I enjoy your and love the fact that you have added strawberries. 😍👏
The texture and taste is something new to me too, never knew it is so delicious, my family was amazed. I'm sure you can imagine since you've tried it. The strawberries indeed made a difference giving some kind of fresh bites in the cream. Thanks Alina! 💖❤️🥰
Wow this recipie is amazing..............also thank you soo much ❤ur recipes have helped me a lot and they are the best. And could you also tell me if I can use chocolate whipped cream instead of vanilla buttercream in your Eggless vanilla cupcake recipie. Thank you again
I got so excited when I saw the pan size. Thought this is one I can make even though mine are rounds, lol. But then you showed how the bottom of your pans come out and my face did this ☹. This recipe is so interesting. I've never seen pastry cream made that way. Love that you put fresh strawberries in it. Would I need to 1.5x the recipe if I wanted to make this in a 9in springform pan? It's the only pan I have that has a removable bottom... 🤷♀️
Hi Tammie. It will be very convenient to remove the end product if you're using a loose base pan. Yes dear, if you're using a 9 inch springform will be awesome, I would go for 1.5x or even better 2x the ingredients, especially the cream fillings part
@@gracioustreatz7231 Thanks so much for the reply. Really happy that I'll be able to make this after all. I'll make sure to double the filling. I'll come back to report how it came out. Thanks again... 😉
@@gracioustreatz7231 made this yesterday using ur recipe and looks good 😍 I probably reduced the sugar for cream since its a little bit too sweet for me 😁
It's new to me too, but it's getting popular these days. My husband and his friend ate it for the first time, they loved it and asked for second serving😄
@@gracioustreatz7231 i think the camera is fooling me, it just looks like a cheesecake because of how clean you cut the cake, you must have a sharp knife
The filling is not cream cheese. The reason why you put the cake in the fridge, is for the cream to set and therefore it takes on the resemblance of a cream cheese filling. Be assured you are not being fooled by the camera.
It's a wonderful addition adding strawberries in the filling! You made this Karpatka perfectly and it's lovely to see a square shaped version!
Thanks dear. This cake is super tasty. Yea for a change I made it in square 💕❤️🥰
Eggcellent. Choux and Cream. Thanks for sharing
Wow a polish cake, I've never tried this one before. I like the texture of the center against the breaded top and bottom.
You should give it a try, it's a hit at home, everyone likes it 🥰☺️❤️

May I know how long can I keep the pastry batter before baking it? Because my oven cannot put 2 trays at a time 😀
Yes you can bake one by one, right after one is baked. It's mentioned in the description box 😊
Is this similar to a napoleon cake? Just wondering thanks
Not really, Napoleon usually have 3 layers of different flavours ☺️🤗

First
It looks good, but it's not meant to be like a cheesecake, but more like cream on the inside
Yes it's creamy, not as stiff as cheesecake ☺️

@@zenobiawilliams7205 i know, but when i ate karpatka last time it looked more like cool whip than cheesecake, also it is creamy
This is not that cake 🙁, original polish version does not contain any fruits ☺
