Recipe is useless without the way you do it. Just like making a cake is to take sugar, water, flour, baking powder, eggs, milk and butter, plus some minor ingredients like cocoa, salt and vanilla, but you really have to know how to mix them, and in what order, to make something that will actually look like a cake.
@@SeanBZA It's 2 ingredients, not 10. A very short google search for "thermite recipe ratio" give a 3 iron oxide part to 1 aluminum part, drop in a container and shake to combine. A simple sparkler is hot enough to ignite. Thermite cake is ready done.

I love how slow mo guys always get to the point and don't stretch things out.
What i mean by it, they introduce themselves and they don't stretch the introductions out for 2 minutes. They say what they're gonna be doing (obviously) and what they're expecting. Maybe show the process of how they're setting the equipment up and tell us about the camera they're using. Then they film the slow motion and just...boom

@@peaceoutbruh7085 You can get the ingredients by breaking a piece off a metal coat hanger and some rust from something made with iron. Aluminium is light but easily bends in small sizes, so it's not hard to find. As for the rust, just take a look at the roof of your house or maybe a shed. Just gotta mix the right amounts and set them on fire

For anyone interested what the bubbles were about; it's called the Leidenfrost Effect. It happens when something significantly hotter than the boiling point of a liquid is introduced to that liquid. Basically, there forms a sort of protective layer of vapor around the object in contact with the liquid (from the liquid itself); which in turn acts as insulation against further contact between the two.
It's the same thing that happens (if you've ever seen it), when water "Skitters" around a really hot frying pan when suddenly introduced; in that case, the droplets riding on a "skirt" of their own vapor.

This is also a very good depiction of the Leidenfrost effect, when very how material is submerged in water, but the heat creates a shell of water vapor around the material, effectively preventing the water from actually touching it, so it takes much longer for the material to dissipate its heat and cool down

1:57 that is beautiful, it’s like a waterfall of lava but then it’s like it cuts to a scene with meteors falling into a burning atmosphere.
Yeah and the little sparks, to me , look like stars shooting out. At 4:40 those also kinda look like meteors. I found most of the reactions kinda beautiful in their own way.
