It’s bc crysis 3 was ahead of its time n was already at the level of modern video games of having realistic graphics so they just did a lil retouch in small things they might have missed in the original n put better lighting etc. just small changes like the water has a noticeable difference
From what I've seen the main changes are (besides optimizations) Grass, cloth and water caustics simulations now run at 60fps instead of 30 Added ray traced reflections DLSS and more modern AA One theory about why the game didn't change much visually is because it already used much better quality assets compared to when Crysis 2 came out and the other reason seems to be that the lighting was carefully crafted so revamping that would have completely changed the mood of the game and would have led to a huge ammount of work, those things are specially notable in the dam level
The remastered version has this greyish/brownish filter on it for some characters and scenes in general! I personally prefer the original Crysis 3 better.
i think the original is more realistic but 3 has some minor visual improvements ill just play the remaster since i already have it but the original is original which is why i kinda wanna get that one
The main difference that I see is that the original seems like illuminated by a cold fluorescent light and the remaster uses a warmer incandescent light 😂 Cryengine was always much ahead of it's time... Both looks realistic.
Planar Reflections on Water, RT Reflections on other surfaces and helping minimize incorrect specular glow, better grass shading, animations and physics simulations running at 60fps, better AA and addition of DLSS, potentially some ambient lighting changes with more dense cubemaps like in Crysis 2 Remastered although not sure. That's about all there is. The original was already easily 8th gen level tech and fidelity, just some touch-ups to polish it up. And since it doesnt use SVOGI it runs about as good if not better than Crysis 2 Remastered.
You can't deny the remastered made animations run at 60 fps instead of 30, that alone is enough for me and i appreciate what they did with the remastered
Probably because of styling. The artists for the remaster wouldn't craft in the same colours as the OG. That dissonance is probably the reason for the feeling of "lesser quality"

honestly i dont see any difference
higher texture res
more accurate shading
realistic grass
Ray tracing
and much mire

а как же цена. ведь её изменили!
@@vedranlastric3632no. Not much differences. At all.
I don't see a change either, beyond the fact that they saturated some colors a bit, I don't see any difference at all.

AA is garbage.
Conclusion, if you have the original crysis 3 there is no point in buying the remaster
Why developers cannot go back with this tech? They didn’t need huge amounts of storage to create AAA games.
The remastered version has this greyish/brownish filter on it for some characters and scenes in general! I personally prefer the original Crysis 3 better.
3:50, the water wave of old version so good
amazing job on the comparison by the way thank you
Thank you!
That game aged very well.
i think the original is more realistic but 3 has some minor visual improvements ill just play the remaster since i already have it but the original is original which is why i kinda wanna get that one
The original only uses single core I went from 150 to 80 even 50 frames during gun fight lmao the remastered is just better on my 5700x 3060ti
The main difference that I see is that the original seems like illuminated by a cold fluorescent light and the remaster uses a warmer incandescent light 😂

Which gives more fps ?, which is more optimized ? I will go for that
They are both well optimized but OG will give more more FPS because you don't have Ray Tracing and don't need DLSS for decent performance.
On GTX1070 I still cannot run the original on 4k. Even though it was already 3 years old when this card appeared.
They lowered the brightness and changed it to 2 hours a day for shadows, excellent remastered
You can't deny the remastered made animations run at 60 fps instead of 30, that alone is enough for me and i appreciate what they did with the remastered
Fantastic on point comparison video brother. Amazing work
What's with these remastereds that look worse than the original ?
xbox elite 2 doesn’t work at all on the remaster. please fix this. (pc)
Watching now my friend let's go 💯🎶👍
crysis 3 is better yet
no need to remaster and no deferent
awesome sharing my friend ,smashed the button like 13 15:15
Battlefield 4 looked better
looks like downgrade in some areas
Probably because of styling.

this is a load
what a joke
