I love how the first time everyone get's melee'd by an enemy that couldn't melee in previous games, the reaction is always the same. A moment of confusion, being surprised, then mildly offended
Weird. I swear it was Halo 4, because it was YEARS ago and I didn't even bother playing 5's campaign until like 2017. I can't recall any significant moments from my H5 playthrough.
The thing I love most about your play throughs, is your genuinely having fun. No bitching and moaning about how the campaign isn’t perfect. Just enjoying the game in the moment. So satisfying to watch man. Keep being great DeeBee. Your an absolute blessing to the community.

I think my favourite part of the opening cinematic with the pilot finding Chief is when the pilot gets him inside and drops him from the crane, I believe it's one of the first times that you get a real sense of how heavy Chiefs armour is, just that resounding thunk of about 1000 pounds hitting metal. Love it. Also love the gentle respect Chief has for all the dead marines, gently moving there bodies out of the way, and gently taking the gun from the marine in the hog. 343 outdid themselves with this one.
My favourite little detail is when chief opens the door in the ship easily when the pilot had to use his whole body to move it, just a really subtle way of showing how a 1000 pound genetically altered super soldier in a tank suit is a considerable upgrade on us standard fleshy humans.
Good Tips: You can temporarily stun a jackal if you grapple at its shield, upgrade shields and grapple first, try and get as much valor as possible (good for the long term). Enjoy the most amazing Halo experience!!!

I cannot watch your reaction yet, but I'm here to leave a like and wish you good luck. I discovered Halo when i was 10 years old, and i was too a PS only kid, until that day. Seeing you discover the franchise has been quite a great journey.

Gotta say, one of my favorite things about Infinite is just how vocal they make all of the enemies. They talk during battle CONSTANTLY, and the Grunts are hilarious.
Actually fusion coils were in every Halo game. They were actually made a gag by Bungee as "keeping dangerously radioactive and superheated plasma in a glass jar seems safe to me". In other Halo games they're more common in MP as they can be uniquely used to trick people into getting you the kill. In campaign they were more sparsely used but they've been there since Halo 2. Bungee always wanted them for smart player to utilize but in that regard they ended up being tricky to utilize.
It's great to hear once again what can only be described as "excited Dee noises". Honestly I feel that you are the epitome of a Halo enjoyer. People be complaining about a lot of things about Halo Infinite. But at the end of the day, why not just be elated that you can kick ass as the Master Chief? Good to see you back in action.

I don't know if you've been told or found this out but Grunts explode because the packs on their backs contain a gas they need to breath that is explosive. I think it's methane but I may be wrong. In anycase, a strong enough hit or enough fire on the pack can set it off. this was first shown in Reach, in which it mostly happened with Grunts that already died, at least from my experience and instead of exploding like they do in this game, this would send them flying into the air. They'd still die if it goes off before they die from gunfire but not like this. Honestly I do like that it explodes like it does in Infinite. While it's fun watching Grunts fly in Reach, this feels more accurate considering it's gas exploding violently. Not to mention the fact that they explode at all is a nice touch.
Still weird that bro hammer calls the grunts "little things". Remember that grunts are about normal people sized. Chief is f*cking massive at about 7ft tall.

Just a note, the hydra in Infinite is basically worthless in lock-on mode. In lock-on mode it takes at least 2 shots to just kill a grunt. In standard mode it only takes 2 shots to kill a brute or elite.
I've never played a Halo game aside from at a friend's house one time and seeing my brother play the first two games, but the first 20 minutes of this made me go download Master Chief collection lol

I don't know if creators get to choose the ad frequency, but at times during this video there were ads every 2 or 3 minutes, and in the first 20 minutes I had 5 or 6. I know monetisation is important, but that's too much.

Especially towards the end. Edit: NO FALL DAMAGE!

I became a Sony PlayStation guy from the get go too. I was wondering if you had any plans to jump into perhaps my favorite sci fi series ever created. Mass Effect. @DeeBeeGeek When upgrading the grapple hook to level 3-5 you can hold down the melee to se something cool. REMEMBER THIS!
