That look in Yu’s eyes and the innocence on his face when he said Wo Ai Ni at the end of the letter.. that was so touching and endearing. I don’t speak the language, but I felt what he was trying to convey. So heartfelt.
This is the first BL drama couple that I do not ship. Not because Sam has a girlfriend, but because after I watched their Valentine’s Day IG Live, I realized that their connection seems to be deeper than the superficial fanservice. They’re both quite deep people and barely allow their art and connection to be simplified to shipping.
When I watched their IG live on Valentine’s Day, Sam looked like he was struggling with some feelings/thoughts that may be related to the characters because he was so deep into it. He was clearly having some feelings and the lyrics of the song he sang to Yu was VERY telling (Love in Silence). And lately I noticed that YU is struggling with the same thing. I try not to read too much into what they say or don’t say, but the content of the letters they wrote and what they said afterwards.. it is pulling my heartstring. I hope for the best for the 2 of them.
Both of them delivered superb acting in WBL. This is definitely a worthy series to watch, simply because of their acting.
I can understand that actors may get deep into character but there were months since they filmed it . My thought, they are human before being actors , spending time together, caring about eo , their personality is admiring as well , it is not hard to fall in love . Sam is so caring toward yu and yu listen to Sam thoughts w/o interpreting him( Valentine day live....etc). I Sam many BL shipped couples but these 2 they make it hard to not ship .But as a fan I kept a boundary to not ship anybody unless there is confirmation.

Sam really cared Yu. There was a fan video from different perspective showing that they didn't kiss. Yu touched Sam's cheek and wanted to kiss him, but Sam hugged him to avoid this, and then said, "it's okay, it's okay". I believe that they are real.

I am happily married lady and I can see that Samyu have already got a deep bond and are not afraid to show their affection for each other. indeed they are happiest when they are hugging or intimate. this reminds me of my husbands love for me. they are so cute together and i wish them blessings for the future.
