Back in the early 90's, GnR's setlist was spontaneous, but these days, it is no longer as wild, nor as random. GnR has a setlist, as well as an alternate setlist (just in case they want/ need to switch it up, for any reason). You can search google for on-line setlists they've had in their most recent concerts. that will help you be more prepared, with the exception of a surprise or two which they sometimes throw in. I hope this helps & have a great time at the concert :)
Only Guns can have such a success in 2023 with that vocals and this drummer. So Axl is a legend and nobody can take this for him. And he is a very hard working lead singer despite all his problems with voice. It nust be hard but as a listener i cant litsen to their songs like this anymore...instrumental is great causw of slash..drums very bad..fortus no for me, not at all he cant play a solo that fits guns and rythn no blues hard rock at all. Hope after the tour thwy will come back with a hard rock sound and vocals even without high octave. Low register is wonderful, this falseto is not good at all for the listener. Legends and respect though.
because these songs wouldn't make any sense with the low clean register (he lost his low range thick rasp years before the high one). the whole point and the energy comes from how they were sang back in the day. there is no good solution to this, because obviously he is not able to or not willing to push his voice there in the past years. so either he does this or they quit. I just wish people would stop blindly pretend his voice is awesome, because old Axl would be really sad he destroyed himself for nothing as people seem to be perfectly happy with this as well.
@@victoriayuijkmrodriguezfre9085 Live and let die 91 Wembley, Only Women Bleed Tokyo 92, You're Crazy Live Acoustic 1988, One in a million Live at CBGB. it is not the lowest low, but low to mid register. The thing is his voice completely lost that ability which was also the foundation of his really powerfull highs back then, because he really pushed those out almost as a scream. That is long gone, which is understandable brcaue he abused the shit out of his voice for years - in return he gave us 3 years of legendary performances that will be hard to surpass to anyone. He had to change techniques because kf that. The rasp whcih was still okay and used later in 2010s let's say, is generated differently and is much easier to do on the high vocals than on the mid to low where it is basically impossible. He effectively lost his old rasp voice in that range. He can sing there only with his natural clean voice. Lately we see him struggle even with the 2019s version of high rasp, he is having trouble getting that little squeeze to get that sparkly gain on it. So it is either his regular voice from low to mid or a clean falsetto in the highs which he sometimes tries to push to generate some rasp, but it not that fine rasp he had in 2016 let's say, but more like he forces it into an overdrive which doesn't really sound good.
@@victoriayuijkmrodriguezfre9085 I saw them in 2017 in prague where he attempted Only women bleed, I believe the only time he did on that tour and you can hear he is really struggling with it. ua-cam.com/video/GrMkbWxsgvs/v-deo.html
Omg, if you hate GnR, then why spend any time watching their content? Slash & Duff return to the band was great & amazing for those of us who love, respect & appreciate GnR. GnR are happy, tight & very successful, they've earned every bit of money they earn from their awesome, live concerts :)
