WRX Gets Perrin Shift Stop and Bushing

Making the WRX drivability just a tad bit better. With this shift stop we were able to reduce the shift gate spacing and with the combination of the shift bushing we made our shifts smooth like butter! Watch to see us install these parts!

Your video came up randomly on my suggested and you totally reminded me that I had the shifter bushing that I never installed for over two years

So the rhrino ramps actually fit under the front lip? I need to purchase some ramps that work.
Kind of…they scrape the lip a bit so I usually drive the car onto some wood blocks and then onto the ramps

I haven’t had any issues with mine for over a year now. Works like a charm still so id say definitely worth it!

Good video but what's the point of the tiny washers?
I don’t think they are super critical but just helps tighten everything up and keeps things from loosening from any vibrations...or so I’ve been told lol
Wat size washer did u get?
Honestly this install was so long ago that I can’t remember the size. Just anything that will fit that screw and is similar to the ones provided. Should be a standard size I beleive
Do you have the STI short throw shifter?
Yupp came with the car from the dealership
Are these only for the WRX? Or are they for the STIs as well?

May need to adjust the positioning of the shift stop. Loosen the screws and make sure theres a hairline gap from 5th gear to the stop.
I bet you were pulling up on the reverse. My dumbass was doing the same thing
Should have gotten a magnet, not new washers. That could come to bite you in the ass down the road.
