jerma beating the sour snail to death with a shovel as it laid down wailing in pain, and asking “is it sleeping?” was insane. he has no concept of death
the fact that in order to succeed in this game you have to, from the start, breed whirlms specifically to be eaten, was never something i grasped as a kid and i literally COULD NOT handle the conflict
i feel like theres so much charm and care and detail put into this game from the funky UI to seed bouncy sounds to the animations of every creature?? its really memorable
Holy fuck I just got to that part as I was reading this comment, you're right it hurts! He had a good eye for beauty, I wish I knew how to make my garden look like that 😅
Hey, Stream Archive man. You're doing god's work, thank you bro. You've gotten really good at doing these and they're getting quicker all the time. You're doing us all a service. Thank you.
I love seeing Jerma playing this game for the first time, it really shows you how detailed and complicated this game really was. Most things that are simple for experienced players are absolutely foreign to others
I played the shit out of this when I was a young feller. I literally asked for an Xbox 360 for my most recent Christmas just so I could order this game on amazon and play it again. It was everything I remembered it being and more. If you guys haven’t played this and yet you have a way to, PLAY IT.
Just wanted to give a fun fact to everyone: Viva Piñata… was almost a mobile game. So when they joke about it being a mobile game, it came very close to being one. But Rare got a contract with XBOX so they ended up expanding the game … and I’m so happy they did. I love this game, and I just can’t imagine it on mobile.
@@EvilGhoul I did run into some bugs after a while that made the game frustrating sadly. But, if you give it a shot you may not run into the same problems.
Had to catch the VOD and I was just hoping to god the whole time that someone would tell him you could make the sour piñata transform into regular piñata. I felt so bad for those shellybeans

This game was my favourite thing ever as a kid but we only had the demo so I would just play as far as I could get and then do it over and over and over
Stankfield you can play it on pc if you know where to look (it’s not available digitally so if you have a moral dilemma with piracy, I guess you can justify it by that logic) and just follow the PCGamingWiki’s page for the game to get it running
Ash frey yeah it is just not on the pc gamepass, I’m assuming this person has no console at all though, which is why I brought up the pc version. It’s also a very old game so it would run on any modern laptop if that’s all you had.
@@sozzll you're right, I only have a switch and a really shitty laptop, call me poor but it's hard to get multiple consoles with how expensive it is nowadays.
@@stankfield9432 ua-cam.com/video/XoM6w2VVslU/v-deo.html this guide has a download link as well so you can follow that and get the game set up in less than an hour, and even if your laptop is dogshit it'll run fine considering this game is 14 years old
I’m so happy he enjoyed this game :) he seems to really like these little creature games, he keeps looking at some cute stuff and going “oh that’s cute :)” ITS SO SWEET!!!! Also I loved this game as a kid, I DID come home every day from school and grind this gosh darn thing!!! I did a bunch of research and everything, was probably my first hyperfixation.
Depends on what you like. I think the garden in the first game looks nicer. The first game also didn't have the Pinarctic and the Dessert desert nonsense.

I'm 24 and this was the first jerma video I've watched in months, there's a big demand for comfy, relaxing and quiet games, a lot of people enjoy falling asleep to big streamers playing nostalgic childhood games.

Loved this game when I was a kid, I spent ages trying to get every piñata. The dragon, the unicorn...yet somehow I could never get the deer.
Relatable
Getting the Dragonache was both the most exciting and most obtuse thing I ever found in a game as a kid
Stupid deer needs like 10 berries and everyone else tries to eat them
fucking same
Doenut was always tough for me. The hardest one to get for me was that gallagoogoo or whatever the little pink fucker was named

100%. I love this game
People criticizing Jermas frog paving hurt my soul. It looked fine! The frogs had a little garden patio thing with the cobblestones. :(
PointsofData its fun to tease him but some people are real assholes about it
