You can use liquid adhesive with acetate, but it takes a long time to dry. You would want to secure the item with your reverse tweezers, a clothes pin, or something else to keep if from moving. Expect it to take 3 hours minimum, and possibly longer than that. Sooo, double sided tape works best if you're in a hurry.
Thanks Laura! Is there a brand you recommend? I tried super glue, but it turned the acetate cloudy. I was wondering if the clear Gorilla Glue would work. The regular Gorilla Glue seemed to hold, but it foamed up and looked worse than the super glue. I didn't have good luck with tacky glue, or any of my other papercraft glues.
@@PearBlossomPress I have use Alene's Tacky Glue, but, as I said, it takes a long time to dry. I just made some shaker ornaments with it, but since there is an outer frame over the acetate, you really can't see the glue on the finished product. I can't tell you exactly how long it took to dry because I let them sit overnight, which is probably longer than necessary.
How Cool! Great design, love your colors....bottle looks as tho you can pop it and pour it!
Thanks Tressie!
