@@heartbeat9429 basically, Eidos is a level 2 and Gigantic Spright doesn't restrict normal summoning so you get to summon a Monarch

Crystal Beast players will really slot in cards from ANY possible archetype in order to make their deck function.
Seeing them use the Vaylantz field spells is even funnier imo

Yo I couldn’t even be mad about that last duel as the Despia player. Man got to set up, them machines played through. We respect that.
Branded man is a bit overreactive on the effects activation, but respect to earth machine, which I don't give to them very often
The Branded player just threw _hard_ by wasting _two Mirrorjade activations_ on combo pieces that were not needed as material anyway.
I guess they might not have known Earth Machines but that deck has only one Towers, if any, so you obviously save Mirrorjade for the stuff on which they are trying to end.
The Machine vs Branded game felt like Eggman was mocking Aluber from beginning to. "Ho-ho! I know a thing or two about dealing with pesky critters like you. Unfortunately for you, you're dealing with the GENIUS that will one day conquer the world ho-ho-ho!"

Hey guys, DeamonHeart here to explain some of the questionable card choices shown in my replay.
First, I'd like to say I don't take credit for the deck itself. The original deck was by ianz18 Ch., and I merely changed some ratios as well as changed the ED slightly.
As some may have noticed, Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon is not a card normally found in EM decks. There are however multiple uses for that card:
1. Summoning Magical Hound alongside it by using Urgent Schedule allows you to go into Baronne, albeit without being able to attack using Baronne given the Urgent Schedule restriction. This line was especially useful when this replay was made, as the most represented deck was Runick Stun, and there was already plenty of reasons to have Magical Hound in the deck to counter that exact deck.
2. Though improbable, it could in theory be used alongside Machina Metalcruncher to go into a Rank 9 (Infinitrack Earth Slicer).
3. Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon has an effect where your opponent cannot activate Spell/Trap/Monster effects until the end of Damage Step when this card attacks. Pair that up with a 3000 ATK stat line, and in the event of a Branded matchup, it can destroy a Fusion Summoned Mirrorjade, and prevent the board wipe effect from being activated. This has come up more than once when playing this deck.
As for Geartown, the obvious reason for its inclusion is to Special Summon Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon from Deck/Hand/GY, which then allows it to be linked off for Anger Knuckle, as shown in the video. It also acts as a safety net in case you draw the Ancient Gear Box garnet.
That was a hell of a duel! Even if much of the deck was from someone else, you made it your own and it's clear those choices came in clutch! Well done!

Hound also enables a Naturia Beast line with any level 4, which is also very effective against the mentioned Runick deck

Anchor Drill can level modulate both to be level 5, which means it can either be used to XYZ into River Stormer or Synchro into Baronne.

I've seen that Monarch list before, you play just enough cards in extra to go for the NASH Knight line and then have an empty extra for Domain. Great stuff.

Today I got clapped by a deck that i thought was just Springans but then they pulled out Mathmechs and Exosister and that Chrystal Beast game reminded me of it
I fail to think of a better card that could replace ancient gear reactor drago in this list.
Are there any crystal beast pendulum cards? It would make perfect sense cause they're basically already monsters and continuous spells. It could have an effect that allows you to pendulum summon monsters from your spell/trap card zones or one that lets you pendulum summon crystal beast monsters to the spell/trap zones.
There are but they’re awful if my memory is right. The 10 Crystal beast of players never use them
technically, yes, but no. It would be really cool if they made some, even if the wording on the cards was a bit tricky. It just feels like such a natural place to take the deck.
For crystal beast, no pends sadly. The similar archetype Plunder Patroll (which basically does the same thing, sending units in and out of s/t zone to and whatnot) just recently got support in the form of a pend card.

you can make replays public and send your 9 digit friend code/profile ID thing, but no way to send a specific replay. for LVK's sub replay fridays, they have a system to specify
