Detecting the fingerprints of life outside Earth (MINAR at Boulby Underground Laboratory)

Before the invention of the telescope, all the many stars in sky were nothing more than tiny balls of light. The search for life out there beyond Earth continues, as rovers burrow into Mars and probes peer further back into space, the most significant of scientific treasure hunts begin.
Boulby Underground Laboratory is the UK's deep underground science laboratory located 1.1km below ground in Boulby Mine, a working polyhalite and salt mine in the North East of England.
