OMG! The penny button was a brilliant idea. Sometimes it is very hard to find buttons with large holes to accommodate 2mm leather cords. Now I can just make my own. You are so clever.
Alesha, I love your fingernails nails polish! It is always a pleasure to see your videos! Thank you for showing us your talent and continue with your tutorials , I have learn a lot with your videos. God bless you!
I absolutely love the bracelet! The button(penny) is the star. You amaze me with all your talent. Thank you for sharing the tutorial.
I love how you made the chandelier earrings. I also love the bracelet. Those are some of my favorite beads lately . I did not realize you add a large strand of beads . I thought they were all the same kind of firepolished beads. That still looks amazing. 😊😍
If I don't say what I am thinking, I will forget, with that being said I just wanted you to know why there are multiples from me. Thank you so much for such a clear & concise video. You really take your time to show exactly each step & it's very so helpful for people like myself that are slow learners like myself. Again GREAT VIDEO!!!
Love the bracelet & the penny button but I just love, love, love the earrings. You are so talented.....
Liked and subscribed. I love, love, love the bracelet. I have so many pennies and now I know what to do with them. Thanks so much for this tutorial. Who knew that Pennies would be worn as jewelry. I'm so going to do this.

Beautiful
Hi Aleshia. I have been making your Spiral Galaxy rings, and I've really liked how they've come out. But I have a question for you: where do you find your 9mm round beads? I've been looking online but not finding any, and Michaels only had 1(count 'em, 1!!) color/type...I would love to find some different colors! If you could help me, I'd really appreciate it!! Thanks!
I love your videos! They are so well-done, easy to see and follow. What is the “dollar bead box” that I hear you mention? Thank you.
Hi Aleshia. I love the earrings, can you please tell my what size Druks and what gauge are the eye and head pins? Thank you
Hello! I noticed the beaded ring on your left hand, if you made it , could you please do a tutorial? Thank you!!! 😊
How do you tie-off the new thread and then start anew?
I have not been successful in threading the Fireline onto my #10 beading needles. Any suggestions? Thank you for your videos!
Hello, Love it Alisha. What do you mean by color blocker . I am not familiar with that term.
you can use the wapit loom double to make this
Girl, I am 62. "You don't need a guy to do this" LOVE IT!! I am now officially hooked on your channel
The bracelet turned out gorgeous. As did the earrings. You're so funny with the comment about the noose. Lol
Did you know it is against the law to deface a coin? LOL Seriously, it is. I think it's still on the books. Love your videos.
CHAPTER 17- COINS AND CURRENCY
Sec. 331. Mutilation, diminution, and falsification of coins
Whoever fraudulently alters, defaces, mutilates, impairs, diminishes, falsifies, scales, or lightens any of the coins coined at the mints of the United States, or any foreign coins which are by law made current or are in actual use or circulation as money within the United States;
Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.
(June 25, 1948, ch. 645, 62 Stat. 700; July 16, 1951, ch. 226, Sec. 1, 65 Stat. 121; Sept. 13, 1994, Pub. L. 103-322, title XXXIII, Sec. 330016(1)(I), 108 Stat. 2147.)”
The critical word here is “fraudulently.” And the critical feature is someone trying to make money off the coins at the expense of the government.
Back when money was actually made of precious metals, the government used to get quite irate if you messed with coinage. People wanted the stuff to be worth, in silver, about what its face value was. But silver is a soft metal, so the coins would wear down fairly rapidly. This meant that the mints were constantly taking in underweight coin, and replacing it with full weight stuff, an expensive process. This was made a hell of a lot worse when spikes in silver prices came along, and the metal in the coin became more valuable than its face value. Unless the value of the coinage was allowed to float upward, people would, left to their own devices, starting melting coins down for the silver … which the Treasury would then have to replace, at a cost greater than the coin’s monetary value.
Today the coin’s intrinsic value is much less than face value, and the gummint cares a lot less about people messing with them.

How long of thread did you use? For a double or triple wrapped bracelets I found I ran out of thread and had to finish by adding a new needle and thread. How can I do this more smoothly ?
Both are beautiful
So, so creative! I am lovin that penny button! Gotta make some myself!!!
Hola me puedes dar la medida del cuero gracias muy linda la manilla
I love the penny button! What a great idea!!!
Love to make this ☺
Oh, and the bracelet looks gorgeous on, love it!
I am enjoying learning from your tutorials!
So pretty... 💜 ...and pretty confusing... 😂
My cord that holds the beads on the leather is starting to fray. What kind can I use so it won't fray? What is the best brand?
A little late but I just watched your video and it is something like what I do but I subscribe only to the $Bead Bag now and wasn't real sure what I was going to do with the beads but they were always so pretty so I knew there would be a place for them. Well, what I do is use them to make memory wire and elastic bracelets. I generally do color blocking with the memory wire and one strand works great for each section and I keep them at three or four sections. When I make elastic bracelets, I make them in pairs or triplets so nobody has to travel alone...lol. Some of the strands are just too perfect for another project and leftovers are beautiful bead soup. Always fun, and I love how you used them in your bracelet. 😼💜
would love to see an video on how to make earrings. thanks for Sharing......
Approximately how many feet or meters of leather did you need in order for the bracelet to wrap 6 times around the wrist. or was that 8 X around the wrist? If you mentioned it I don't remember. Would you mind telling me again?
Denise Winant, Same thing I thought too about it being against the law to deface any coinage, but I immediately thought but immediately thought "but what the hey their so flippin cute that everyone will be making them & I don't think that the powers that be would bother with everyone ...
Rubbing Alcohol usually takes marker away.
Hi there nice tutorial lovely bracelet thanks for sharing
Love how you said' I did not need a man to do this'...😂
What size does nine ft. make? I need a size 7.
wow ..ear ring is ..💟💞💗 😍😍😍😍
Easy way to clean pennies: Rub catsup on them, BUT that will take off the tarnish and patina, making them shiny copper again. It's actually pretty amazing the first time you try it, you won't believe how shiny a used penny can be! so if you want say a shiny copper drop for a necklace, or want to restart the patina process with a clean penny, go for it. As for the acetone, pretty sure it will take of the Sharpie and I don't think it will hurt the penny unless you left it sit for a long, long time. Love the earrings AND the bracelet - beautiful!
Then give it a coat of clear nail polish .💝
How do you put the hole in the penny?
They are cute
