@@shikikanaz4624 its a 120mm heat, the damage is alot of more consistent and devastating then what you might be used to. besides, shooting the german low tier vehicle 15 cm howitzer for example would ensure a kill compared to APFSDS, i would take both rounds 30 HEATFS and 10 AFPSDS

Some of them should have ranged up and just shelled the capture point so that the Merkava couldn't get more ammo. The game tells you the distance to capture points too which makes it even easier lol
I told participants that derp can be anything that shots a very large shell and makes a very larger then average boom which was up to the discretion of the players within limits. Most fell into that category very well. I only had to kick a couple that clearly weren’t derp.

The right choice for this type of scenario are not MBT's, but IFV's, they are much faster and have weapons perfectly capable of destroying a WWII tank from 2-3km away.
Day 2 of suggestion: I have a suggestion where you put a battleship vs tier 1 coastal ships. The battleship could get bigger with each round but the coastal fleet stays as tier 1 [they could use the torpedoes to kill the battleship]
Give me and my 2 friends like a day to plan everything and I think we could take the challenge pretty far but I know how dangerous the derps can be, maybe give like a 10 min head start for the mbts so they could get to good positions and such

I killed a top-tier Chinese MBT the other day with the KV-2. For more context I only really play WW2-Korean War Era vehicles in the game so almost never experience top-tier stuff. My buddy has top-tier for most nations and so he dragged me along for one match and I actually kill someone, but sadly my slow reload doomed my heavy Russian boy.
That first guy couldn’t hit anything lol no wonder he didn’t win plus he stayed near the point giving the players a distance to use cause the point has the distance thing above it
was playing the objective a valid way to win in these battles? because if not then in the urban map i am quite confident that the MBTs could have done it if they all went to the long street instead of seperating, and camping it out, good choke point, and the derp tanks would simply not stand a chance trying to push an mbt already aiming at them around a corner. This falls apart ofcorse if the derps can just capture the A point, which would force the MBTs to loose or push out.

Good video none the less, But what I would have done (not to sound rude, I am just being too purist I guess, lol) is set a minimum limit for gun calibres on the derp team, such as 150mm. If we do consider it, many modern tanks have gun calibres larger than 122mm, such as most modern Russian tanks which have a 125mm gun. Also, thank you for such a fast reply! I think people took too recent tanks. Just use TURM III. Auto loader so 5 sec reload, 43 shells in the rack and all are ready ti launch, 30mm cannon that can pen the small tanks, use HEATFS.

I think against WW2 tanks taking the high tier HEATFS might actually be better. No ERA to dampen the effect.
Damage would still be minimum compared to apfsds though, plus being faster

why didn't the MBTs just use HEAT or HE instead of APFS since all the derp guns don't have composite and most are open top
