The strength of these boys is their courage to always try to improve their craft and not being scared of failing… because they will have multiple back up plans! They work hard to succeed.

Pablo is the best group leader! If you want to succeed in the music industry, just look at how Pablo highlight each member when writing songs and how they support each other’s solo projects! That is a perfect leadership, friendship, brotherhood and professionalism!

Pablo is an amazing guy. Very professional, visionary man, dedicated to his craft and a selfless leader. He want each member shine. He never pointed out that he's the leader, he look himself as just member of the group. And the way he supports his members on their solo projects is such an impressive character of a good leader. Like what he did to Justin Surreal, he produce it with Josue, and now for Stell new single ROOM, he wrote and produce the song with Josue. And i really love the song. By the way, are you in the room now?😂 Let's party. Thank you Pablo for your music, you're such a genius lyricist.
This is my MOST favorite interview of the boys, bar none. I’ve watched this several times before and look at me, I’m watching this again with you. 😊 I dont know why though Billboard took this long to release this. I can say SB19 is an interviewer’s dream subject. Ask them 1 question and they give you 5 thorough, lengthy answers, you’d be hard pressed to come up with a follow up question anymore bec it’s already been answered. And you can feel how excited they were to share their thoughts bec it’s not the usual questions they get asked over and over again.
My take away from this is, SB19 established 1Z out of hunger for creative freedom. And this was ignited during the start of the pandemic, when everyone from ShowBT flew back to Korea prior to the lockdown. They were left to their own devices, not knowing where their budding career was headed to. That’s when Pablo wrote his first song for the group, Ikako. They were able to come up with a simple MV for it on their own. They’ve tasted freedom, they succeeded, and now they want more.
About that seating position. Knowing how low-key Ken gets when it comes to interviews, it might be his choice to sit there. Just a thought. 😊

I love how fired up you are in listening and sharing your thoughts on this SB19 interview. I've watched and listened to this a couple of times and lady, you're not the only one nodding like a mad woman 🙋♀🤭. I remember a colleague of mine who asked me what I liked about SB19, is it their music or their personality. I instantaneously answered "their music." Reflecting on this again, the admiration started with their music and the supportive motivation solidified with their personality. "What do you love about this group?" is not the question. "What's not to love about this group?" is the question.
Josh isn’t called the BOSS for nothing! I love his tenacity. Actually all of them have special traits! And I think the main ingredient to have in a group is friendship, respect on each other, share the same vision, support on each other and like Ken said, having the freedom to do what they want to achieve!

I have been telling haters about their personality. Even if they don't like their music or how they look, at least don't hate them as people, they're so great inside out. Beautiful minds with big hearts❤
Pablo is a true leader, he always include its member and mention that all of them is responsible for what they are now! He's even let Ken talk because he knows he won't say anything unless he is being ask, even though he has an opinion of his own!
I hope the younger generation will learn lesson from them:indeed Visionaries and Innovators!!!!!
SB19 not just making music but making history for the Philippines music industry.
The boys are so matured for their age.. And the wisdom that they have is so admirable. Not so many young people their age have that positive mindset. Just so happy to find sb19. Any parent would be so proud of them. Talent and character-wise, worth emulating. Btw, i agree with seating arrangement, Hurraira! Ken is so shy but full of wisdom as well.
That is what I like about the SB19 boys. They were young talented and funny but they have a pretty good thing between their shoulders and that is a big attraction for me more than anything. When they speak you listen their wisdom came from where they come from. Experience taught them so much to be honed like fine gentlemen parents could be proud of. Inspite of the different environments they lived in these band of brothers are formed. I'm almoat in my senior year and am so happy I met them in my lifetime.
Thisnis why i love them very humble,creative young people,talented and versatile... Keep it up guys keep doin the good work for the country! Keep supporting you no matter what...😊😊😊😊love this group

Fangirling over SB19 is not all about watching them how great they sing and dance, but mostly it's learning about how to think clearly, how to be humble, how to be positive or just how to be a better person in general. A'tin is so lucky to have those 5 individuals in our lives. We can also consider them as our "MAPA" because somehow, they are teaching and guiding us on how to view things in our lives. A lot of A'tin saying SB19 saves them, yes, because these 5 boys are not only giving us entertainment, but hope, courage and positivity to push through in whatever we are experiencing in our lives. Gosh, I'm shaking as I was typing this. Ikako days is that moment for me personally.
I think they are going to be remember in history especially now that they are recognized by our Department of Education, most of their songs were sung during Graduation Ceremony like GO UP, MAPA and SLMT.
And they're in some modules for school
In a way, ShowBT not doing anything for and with them during the pandemic led them to fire up their creative juices and passion. Of course, it was because they were, as Chuck puts it, “in the zone” and nothing could just stop them anymore. Everything happened for a purpose and everything had, has and will have their perfect timing for them.
I love this interview so much. You can see how far they’ve come from even just a year before in the quality of their answers - from each member at that.
It may sound weird, given how badly COVID impacted their early momentum, but I kind of feel like in the long run COVID kind of did them a favor. When the majority of the ShowBT management folks went back to Korea to lockdown there, it gave them a kind of freedom to pursue their own creative direction in a way that I 100% believe would not have happened if all the "people in charge" had still been there interacting with them every day. That self-directed motivation Stell mentioned is what led to "Pagsibol" happening, and I genuinely don't think the giant leap between GITZ and Pagsibol was just "they got better." I think it was that nobody was around anymore to stop them from being themselves.
I agree 100%! When the big wigs left them on their own, that's when SB19 took rein of their destiny.
All things work together for good......to them that follow the Lord.

its a culture thing too, i think.assertiveness is viewed as arrogance.so when you speak up, or have an opinion,some people take it negatively, or that you are being difficult,esp to those with position or with titles(managers, company owners,etc.).these 5men are not born to be mere followers.they are so talented, creative and intelligent/smart.visionaries.
I want a season 2 of "Atin Atin lang" they have so much substance to say and learnings to take especially Pablo I want a podcast from him. I feel like he has so much to wisdom to share. Idk if you watched the 1 on 1 segment of RM from BTS with Pharrell Williams on rolling stone, if you have, RM and Pablo is so similar with each other that I just want to watch a 1 on 1 conversation between them talking about their artistry, music, being a leader etc. I feel like they have so much stuff to say that 1 hr is not enough for them
They don’t usually let Stell and Ken sit together because they have their own topic when seated together and kept on giggling.
Hahahaha so true! And looks like they can't also put Ken next to Justin nor Josh as they have something to chit-chat about something now, too! So Pablo it is! I just wished his seat wasn't so low that the camera couldn't fit him on the same frame as the four most of the time.
I love your take on this interview. I became a solid supporter because of their vision. They can opt to be singers, but they choose to have a long term goals. SB19 always makes me feel seen not only because they give back to A’TIN the love they receive but most especial by being relatable & authentic. Thank you for this.

This is the best interview I’ve ever watched.. the interviewer were able to read through each one’s answer or opinion.. they were able to asked good questions that was able to extract the mind and heart of each one.. they were able to pick nuggets of wisdom from the boys.. ang galeng talaga! I even got teary eyed towards the end when the other host seemed so in awe because of the wisdom from these young guys. i learned so much in this interview that i can apply in my life as well. this makes us A'tin so proud. their purpose is beyond themselves. i want to send this vid to all non-believers and say are you really going to doubt these people? Soleil's translation is very wholesome -- but what Josh said in Tagalog, can also be translated like this : "in 1Z, we put in big xx, then pull out small bits". I don't know if my translation even makes sense, but yeah -- these two were just being dirty-minded there.

Yes I agree with you . Also don’t come after me yung mga ot1 but I really believe Pablo’s unique ability as a selfless leader has helped Ken a lot . I know we all went berserk noong sa podcast and others saying yung apat are ganging ( don’t know the word in Filipino) against Ken but I think he has matured so much and knowing whatever was said came out of love is important and when Pablo said you have to think you are the greatest learn to embrace you and work to be the best . I think Ken is the epitome of That. He learned to use his vocals to his best ability . So yes pablo is so loved by every one

Perhaps they come in as annoying, irritating, or even arrogant especially to those who benefit from the status quo -- actually the real villain. These could be other entertainment companies/managers, who are just stuck on their goal of profiteering, who put very little investment to improve the system for the benefit of their artists and audiences.ĺ

What are you saying? she's just stating her opinion with a disclaimer and in terms of overall the visual angle really is not pleasant to the eyes it cuts the portion of equality and unity with this particular group. They are just 5 people it's safe to say they should always consider the angles, height and perspective for the viewers especially in close/focus frame view when someone is speaking.
In this particular interview I also don't get the aesthetic of Pablo in the higher seat it feels awkward especially when he's next to Ken. I always notice in many of their interviews that Ken can be left easily left out when he's in the corner.

I listen to this almost everday on Spotify, When I'm baking my cake orders I listen to it multiple times 😊.
I remember when this was dropped on Spotify I requested many times to our subbing community to have this sub sadly they didn't get to it maybe because.... I don't know..... May because it's only an audio before and it's better if there's a video or they're waiting for the video to drop.
I remember also telling Hurraira to listen to this on Spotify even if it's in taglish 😂 coz I know she will enjoy and love this interview.
I hope more people will be able to watch this not just International fans but most importantly those casuals who doesn't know them or those pretending they don't know them 😞.
SB19's vision and love for the music industry is so genuine and pure, they are really really working hard towards their goal of introducing Filipino Music all over the world and I hope a lot of people realize that 🙏

The boys always give great interviews. But kudos to the interviewers for asking intelligent questions that are not your typical showbiz questions. This is a good ahowcase for our boys

definitely had fun! i caught myself nodding in agreement to what you were saying at least couple times. they have really evolved fantastically from past interviews to now. from wyat to pagtatag world tours, they have way more confidence and more articulate and coherent. its so amazing to see their dynamics over the years
This interview has proven once again how mature and intelligent these boys are. Makes me proud to be a fan. These young boys are grown men.
They represent what is best in the Filipino culture. We need to really go back to our roots and appreciate how unique we are as a race and be able to unite in making positive moves to bring out what is already there. Be able to enjoy and celebrate each other’s successes and be encouraging in times of hardship.
I really hope one day Pablo will do a podcast, I could listen to him the whole day. His mind is full of wisdom and ideas. And he's an eloquent speaker.

I wish that SB19 was there when I was in my twenties because maybe I had made different life choices. I can say though that it is never too late. I look at life differently now because I have SB19.
I love this interview and i was really looking forward to hearing your opinion. SB19 members are not only talented but are also smart with high EQ. I have picked up a lot of wisdom from the discussion.
As for how BB arranged their seating position, i agree that Ken, being an introvert, shouldn't have been placed there coz it felt like he was being cut off from the conversation. Good thing that he eventually joined in so everything went well in the end.

I do agree also to you in terms of seating arrangements in their vids especially with ken he should be middle with stell and josh/justin in order to become more vocal just to balance and blend him in the shots even when he's not speaking.
