Incense stick to burn the holes: GENIUS!!!!
So wonderful to be shown that you don't need some fancy all-singing-all-dancing sewing machine in order to create something magical :)
+wonderwend1 Very kind, thank you. That machine has outperformed any other machine I have had, I can give it almost anything and it yummies it up! Amazing really.
Wow, you learn something new every day! Incense sticks huh, love it 😄
Wow! I'm nearly speechless.
What a fascinating process getting from point A to point Z. It's a bit mindblowing.
Thank you for sharing your creativity.❤

Amazing, what an effective way to convey the ephemeral beauty of a leaf.

Clare Nelson Thank you so much! I have used these leaves to make a bowl since I made this video. Just mold them around a bowl while they are still wet
Thank you so much Ruth, I really really enjoyed watching you create that amazing and awesome autumn leaf. I’ve made one but it didn’t quite come out like yours. I shall keep at it. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags

Love it. . . But NOT the loud music !
Thank you, this is quite an old video and I learned my lesson about the music. I appreciate the feedback though. Xxx
I am thinking one could use organza instead of teabags?
I was thinking the same too.
this looks greatbut don't know what you would do with them once made. thank you
You can use them on cards, as part of a mixed media/textile piece, or if you make several, you can wrap them around a bowl while still wet and make a leaf bowl.
Great video.. Certainly going to try this. I did find the volume of the music quite invasive and harder to hear you though. Please consider lowering it for future inspiring content you do. Thanks
Thank you, I really appreciate the feedback. I removed the music from the more recent videos. I hope you have fun with your leaves
@@ruthnorbury53 Thanks Ruth. I shared it with a few like minded friends and they all loved it too. So much so, that we are having a get together workshop to make them. I have subscribed to your chanel and I am really looking forward to learning other fantastic ideas you have in the pipeline. Stay safe
@@bobbieparsons1917 Thank you so much. I have a booklet that shows how you can turn them into bowls, if you send me a message, I can send you one. Xxx ruthnorbury@icloud.com
I love the music thanks Ruth you've introduced me to something new (again!)
Is there anything se one can use instead of dissolving fabric?
Good question! It adds a stickiness that allows the leaves to shape well, but maybe try without and see what happens!
I was thinking of making a kit, do you think this would be a useful thing for me to do?
@@ruthnorbury53 yes, of course it would be useful. Please do.
@@ruthnorbury53 i will try, thank you. Perhaps a tissue paper or kitchen towel might work too. Will experiment and let you know. Thank you.
@@dogratiku That is brilliant, thank you. I appreciate you taking the time to help me. Xxx
Brilliant video but may I make a sugestion? Please eliminate the pointless music. It distracts, sometimes your voice was covered by the sountrack.
Thank you for the feedback, I have stopped using music in my new videos now. Very kind of you
