I went and got this game after I saw the first two videos they made. I think it's a great game, a little tough, but the maps are interesting and there's a fair bit of replayability. I'd love to see what the game becomes later on, since it does need some improvement, but for an early build it's excellent in my opinion.
I think it looks great and fun, but I'm not convinced that it's worth 20 euro

Theres a single player campaign coming soon, a co-op mode coming soon and multiplayer pvp as well as more content. Or so thats what the devs have said hopefully they deliver with more content and multiplayer. I personally hope they focus more on the pvp.
Eh, I'm hoping for a more Campaign focus myself, but I bought the game with the hope the devs won't ruin it down the line, so a PvP focus isn't the end of the world for me, I just hope there's a competent AI to play against when I'm no wanting to play against someone else.
I can't fathom the devs ruining it tbh, although I am kinda worried that multiplayer won't be as good as it could be.

This game... like civ but not as tedious late game haivng to end your turn with 10,000 troops. Won my first game in an hour by crafting odins sword. 10/10 would recomend
why is it Odin's sword when Odin's favorite weapon was a spear called Gungnir, Shouldn't it have been Odin's spear instead or like Tyr's Sword if they really wanted it to be a sword?

Not really, as is probobly 7/10 but if they can succesfully pull of the multiplayer and campaign then I would bump it up to 8 or 9/10
Dwarfbot3002 Yeah i played a few rounds as well after watching this - won via conquest and via tech so far. The game is pretty solid as is, if relatively quick and fairly easy. I managed to win on a map where i didn't get ANY wood or field/hunt/fish zones - just lots of stone/metal. i won by spamming herbalists and sacred stoned, and fielding a strong defensive line. That herbalist tech that gives food is great, and if youve got like 10 herbalists your army heals ultrafast
From what I can tell, it's a somewhat simplified RTS with some interesting mechanics. As of right now, the AI is a little simple-minded, making it too easy, but if you were to go up against other players, that factor is eliminated. If multiplayer were to be built well and it got a good amount of exposure, it could make for a very good game indeed with a decent longevity. I do not think it'd be e-sports levels of gameplay, but it would make for a pretty good online game.

Sheep pen is a Goat Clan only building. I can understand why Lewis was confused.

Any one know of a few games that are like this? Where you need to build a a town/village/castle/city and army and keep the resources balanced and then attack nations nearby

Lewis, you are in the Wolf Clan
you should have invested more in woodcutting, it was really limiting how quickly you could improve your economy. It halted your entire progression and made you fall behind
also, you researched military tech long before you had anyone to fight. you should have chosen research that improved your economy when you were still isolated from everyone else, then start investing in your military once you met another faction
how can you not notice that you are under attack when theres a big ass red flashing patch on the map
you have a giant fucking stone sword sticking from the earth and you dont claim it :D

only the ram clan can make sheep pens (bullshit btw) so the stratagy for wolves is find the sheeplords, wait for them to claim a bunch of land and make pens, take the land from them and keep an army of 8+Chief+berserker (do not let berserker die you can't get another). Winning by lore is easiest and way faster than the other methods assuming yo wipe out one clan and befriend the giants.
As the wolves, don't worry about fame. You will lag behind, but beat the shit out of whoever is in the lead (assuming it isn't an AI wolf for some odd reason) since you will have better warriors by default if you upgrade them with lore. I once beat the AI when one had 3/4 lore.
ONLY trade food with giants (Jotnar). Wood to the others, don't give them shit they can use to take land (you idiots).
