They were still young and cannot properly figure out the situation they each were going thru and how to handle. And thats when the timing was not on their side.
Although I am a 'T'. I think that in a relationship, you also need to be flexible and understanding of what your partner's needs are. It can't be only you all the time. If she wants to know what you're struggles are in order for her to understand you better, I guess it's fine to adjust and tell her. You won't go nowhere from making her question things and leaving her behind overthinking stuff esp. if in the beginning she already tells you to share your burden with her. If it's fine by her then what's the issue?

Could be like ‘our beloved summer ‘. Reality slaps. Got attached to this drama because of what this drama make me felt. First time ever kdrama make me felt like this. Will never recover
Because the problem yijin went thru in new york was something even he had a hard time to process within himself. It was suddenly he were right in the middle of war. People dying n in pain infront of him everyday. If only heedo bear with him for a little while, it would not be as hurtful .
Always loved her a stellar actress so many as we know are great. Every one can't get the awards I know but in my heart they are all. Remarkably talented and super stars. As I often say best of the best. None better in my opinion.
Yi jin likes to keeps problem to himself. Yup, it is annoying. But when the other 2 actors agree with him, can say its a male thinking in a relationship. Its attractive but at the same time its making the partner like heedo miserable. At that point, things could be working out for them after. Or the writer can just stop at that scene and just show how both of them being miserable after ward and end the series . Hence, Let the audience fantasize the ending the way they want to . Just a wishful thinking.
Im man and mostly men will rarely share their big worries to their partner, especially if their partner is not in good condition, but if i met women like heedo who say that she want to share, then i will, as long as she is healthy to accept any kind of it
Neither sharing all the sorrow and troubles helps nor does hiding all of it helps...sharing happy or sad emotions should be done in the correct amount and at the right time....for example if something really great happened to your partner on a certain day, you can't just go and empty your worries on them spoiling their happiness..you could be happy together like they show in the beginning of the series he shares his problems but there are times when he's just happy being in her company. It becomes problematic when there's too much sadness to share ..both of the partners get tired and frustrated then
There breakup is so heartbreaking i understand haedos feeling she is at lost no communication and yejin did not tell or share that he apply for news correspondent abroad you cannot blame haedo for feeling frustrated but both of them feel sorry for.what they say to each other they love each other tell the end thats why there are both crying and we are all crying😔💕💕💕💕

Now imagine before the internet, a couple in a long distance relationship in really difficult high stress jobs with limited time to see each other. What are the odds that they last. Sometimes you can't save what you had together. Then you have to move on.
Well i actually can't choose who was right between Na hee do and Baek yijin but i think hee do should have waited a little longer for yijin as he always supported her without any expectations. At last director showed Hee do's character selfish!
I beg to differ, she literally waited for a long time before coming to that decision. And let's just assume she waited then what? how a long distance would have worked when Yijin was reluctant to share things with her? What she wanted from a relationship she didn't get that so i don't think there's a point in staying in pain. She did what was best for her that time. A relationship works both ways... Yijin didn't even consider Heedo before applying for the job in NY. Wasn't that selfish?
