Original artist died before a second season could exist....Kinda like how Samurai Jack got cancelled before its return, but a different person died, Mako the original voice for Aku...I mean, come on, to replace Mako would be like a pipe dream but so many frigging years later they found one....Unlike Avatar the Last Airbender which really didn't have a choice but to keep going after Mako's demise

Xavior TheLycan The same voice actor who was recast in Mako’s role in Samurai Jack, also portrayed Iroh in ATLA and LOK after Mako’s passing. He had studied Mako’s voice for quite a time.

Gi joe is hard to adapt in these days the snake eyes movie showed that.
The gi joe franchise is amazing like the transformers one but kids today are different then before not all bad but different .
