We need more songs that talk more about the acceptance and joyful stages of being single as opposed to the “newly broken up with” or grievance stages. I don’t have anything against mourning a relationship, but I wish we debunked the stigma that all single people are heartbroken and lonely. Some of us love our free time and liberty to do whatever we please without the drama and attachment!
